Ouch man when something like that is happening is time to pack and leave ,nothing else to do. Its hilarious and realy makes you wanna quit this game forever. For this kind of battle they should get  at most one hit. 0,8 % i think thats 8-9 experience so depeniding were batle was is 18-27 points towards GG. And i  bbelived the 3,2 % which some got against Gira was lucky . I realy hate when game rewards bad playing. What can I say fight to end and try to consider this is not your game, usualy wotked for me.

I can just say, if these results were cooked indeed they'd have done a pretty lazy job masking it. Surely you would at least have 2 irrelevant HAs die? We've seen stuff like this before in pitboss as well, Elkad's PB49 spear comes to mind.
But I understand you being upset and getting doubts. Is there any real downside to sequential PB vs PBEM at this point? I mean it sucks for them as well, as they have no way to prove their innocence.

Not diminishing what happened to you, but Elkad's PB49 spear was on a totally different level of luck. Especially because it was on one single unit and Elkad was already dead at that point in time.

yeah, i realized that after i sent the save and had had time to cooldown. I have since renamed the 2 offending units to " All hail cataphractrs " and something else. I hope THAT is at least allowed. Another downside of using PBEM over Pitboss is when you lose cities, you cant check before-hand like you can via PBSPY, so that leads to at least me having more time in game vs out of game to think of things. ( or however it should be worded? )

Ill send Serdoa an apology pm regarding those two units. I wont delete anything ive said in my thread about him, but i wish him well in his eventual cataphract death.

Cataphracts have no counter. Their drawback of being a super telegraphed timing attack is not enough imo. 11str, or make it have -less damage vs pikes. Something. Yeah, my pike isnt c2 like his top cataphract, but still i should be able to take out a lone cataphract with its LITERAL counter unit.. Sigh.

Cataphract= no counter.
Praetorian= Axes. Equal promotions axes beat praets (last i remember)
Cho-Ko-Nu=anything not melee (horse archers lol)
War Chariot= Spears. Think if War Chariots were +100% vs spears, this is how it feels to defend against Cataphracts.


Im very curious if there is a single other UU that does not have a in era counter. (so no rilfes beat Cataphract dumbass argument etc) I hate bitching, but god damn is it frustrating. Sorry to have let you down Fintourist.

The current Greek Phalanx has no counter in their era, but the HA is close by.
The cataphract can be countered with pikes. Unpromoted they are 50%, but with equal promotions they get better odds then 50%.

The praet beats an equally promoted axe
