FYI in case it matters for the swap to sequential - pindicator asked me to sub for him instead as Mjmd looks unlikely to be able to sub after all. I definitely can. I'll be following instructions as I'm obviously spoiled, however I've been staying out of other players threads since he asked me a couple days ago, and I will continue to stay out for the rest of the month just in case that ends up being helpful as he will have zero internet access.
That said, the time slot pindicator has in sequential should be fine, but there's always the chance it slips into the next morning (or early afternoon UTC) for me as I'm a few timezones east. If there's any interest in delaying sequential until he gets back, that would help pace. Just FWIW. But I'm happy to play sub sequential turns too and will do my best to keep it moving.

Because of the time zone issues, what are peoples thoughts of delaying to swap until Pindicator gets back by the end of the month?
I wonder of we would be best just sucking up the delay which could take us from 3 turns per day to 3 turns for the whole period?
EDIT: Actually, I just checked. I'm going to a festival that weekend (returning home at night though, and only for the Saturday and Sunday, Monday 29th is a bank holiday in UK), but I will certainly miss my slot on the Saturday and the Sunday, plus going to see Arctic Monkeys in Coventry on the 31st. Shall we just keep this as simul turns until the 1st?

I would rather stick to the plan of switching on Monday and accept the inevitable slowdown (we probably weren't going to maintain 3 turns/day for much longer in any case). But if everyone wants to keep going sim turns for the rest of the month, I won't stay in the way

sim turns forever, just have a lurker roll some dice to determine who gets the first/2nd half of wars. Or we all accept that 2nd half is just strickly better 90% of the time for the attacker. At least on the first turn or two.

If turn splits are not in player ID order, someone will get a double-turn if the switch to sequential happens before the split is resolved. That's unfortunate.

Whoever was trying to log in, you can log in now as I am out of the game.
Don't worry about the OOS error, it's because I do not have the wrapper installed yet.

Thinking my situation through I think I am ambivalent about it as well. I'll happily defer to the majority opinion.

...and then you guys go and play a turn within an hour of rolling, as if to prove that we shouldn't switch yet
(I'm still in favour of switching on Monday, you never know when warring starts, and I don't want double move issues to even have a chance of appearing)

...Anyone in favour of starting a second game on a slightly larger map with always peace and with raging barbs? Could even mod them to make them worse, tower defense style. I wonder how quickly we could reach T250...
