Oledavy completed the Great Wall which doesn't seem like a great build. I think it's one of those "Oh look! 3t build!" kind of things.
At EOT, Paper was completed, as well as the Apostolic Palace.
UoS is a 6t build in Pindicator, and that's without any Golden Age hammers helping it along. I'm not sure what we are going to build in GA there. The thing gets like 32 base hammers in a GA. Maybe hand build MoM? It's 301 hammers but we don't have marble (yet). Still that would only be like 5t. And we'd have already used one of our GAs beforehand.
Is Hagia Sophia any use in quick speed? Does that mean 1t roads? I guess it's not that great since most of our worker working is already done.
Notre Dame? We don't have engineering but it is 2 happy on our main continent. Parthenon?
Tech path is Calendar (2t) and Monarchy (1t) and then Feudalism
Parth isn't bad, if we can get marble. MoM is silly after 1 GA, for sure. And HS isn't good on Archi maps like this; the worker turns are basically done. If we were getting Eng any time soon, then I'd say ND just b/c ND is great.

Our GNP
No tech selected: 283
Monarchy: 425
CoL: 425
Compass, Construction, Drama: 340
Music, Edu, Alpha: 327
Machinery, Calendar: 354
Archery: 367
HBR: 354

So going off of the no tech selected path, with GNP of 283. Research is 222b and Gold is 149g (this is at 60% science). Our total expenses are 218. We have 4 EP and 125 culture.
So it should just be 222 + 149 + 4 + 125 + 1 (free beaker) - 218.
And that indeed equals 283. So we're on the right path!

Let's take Music, Edu and Alpha, all of which I'm 99% certain nobody has. So we should be getting just the 1.2 pre-req bonus, or 222 * 1.2 which is 266.4. Rounding down, we should get 44 more GNP, which is 283 + 44 = 327

So, GNP - Beakers = 61.
Therefore, ACTUAL bpt (not base bpt) is:
No tech selected: 222
Monarchy: 364
CoL: 364
Compass, Construction, Drama: 279
Music, Edu, Alpha: 266
Machinery, Calendar: 293
Archery: 306
HBR: 293
364/222 = 1.64 (Monarchy, COL: consistent with FOUR civs knowing the tech, for 4/5*30% = 24%)
Music, Edu, Alpha: 266/222 = 1.2 (shocker: None of these have fallen yet, then)
Compass, Construction, Drama: 279/222 = 1.26, so 1 civ known
Machinery, Calendar, HBR: 2 civs known
Archery: 3 civs known

Monarchy in and we got a Great Scientist. I still think a GA is the best usage of him right now, and hopefully we'll get another GS in a few turns out of plako (you can see it building NE)
Monarchy at EOT and we'll have dyes and incense hooked up next turn so that should get rid of our red faces in Pindicator and Plako.
Plan at least for now is Feudalism -> COL -> CS -> Philo -> Edu (part bulbed) -> Lib (Nat). Perhaps partially funded by darrelljs.
Nospace just revolted to Mercantilism so they may be aways from Lib

Turn 88 played
Al-razi kicked off a Golden Age - we bumped our commerce up by about 100 and around 70 hammers too.
I decided to slip in Code of Laws first before Feudalism, as that will allow some of our cities to get in some courthouses during the GA - this toroidal maintenance is killin me. We'll still have Feudalism in plenty of time to revolt to Vassalage at the end of the GA (I revolted to HR this turn)
Maybe I'll figure out where the best place is for the FP

Okay annoyingly our capital is pretty much right in the middle of our lands. Which is good for reduction of distance maintenance, but not so great for a FP build.
My thought was that the FP should be about minimizing the sum of distances from each city to a "headquarters", with minor consideration to getting it up quicker. This probably isn't exact, but I'd bet it's about as close as it can get.
So I wrote down the x,y coordinates for every city, with (0,0) being the capital of plako. Then I figured out the distance for every city to every city, using the formula 0.5 * (min of delta x, delta y) + max (delta x, delta y). I included the 3 filler sites on the south coast of our mainland but not any of the ice marble sites or anyone else's lands
Then I summed up every city's values, as if it were the capital. Plako had 140.5 of distance sum.
Then, for each city combination, I took the min of the calculated value, with the calculated value for that city and plako. You don't get credit for being close to a city if you're closer to the capital anyways.
In any case, the "winner" was SevenSpirits.
Putting the FP there drops total distance from 140.5 to 107.5. We gain a bit at Zakalwe, Pindicator, the 2 cities on Mackoti island, slightly at Commodore, and of course at SevenSpirits itself.

Grrrrr I transposed the coordinates for sunrise089. Instead of (4,11), I put (11,4). So correcting that I have the following:
Mackoti: 114
Zakalwe: 114.5
SevenSpirits: 115
T-Hawk: 117.5
Ilios: 117.5
So probably any of those 5 is fine

And double Grrrr I also forgot the northern cow city. So adding that, it has plako's distance maintenance sum at 145
and the 3 winners are
Zakalwe: 117.5
Mackoti: 118.5
SevenSpirits: 119.5
Zakalwe is definitely going to get Wall Street so we'll need to be careful about putting anything else there.
I guess I'd go for Mackoti since it would provide help for the northern ice marble city if we found that as well as any expansion towards the Ottomans
