I'm not the best long-term solution here, nor did I say I would be. I did, however, give a decently comprehensive update for someone else to evaluate if they want to take the Khmer crown.

OK guys, I've been thinking about this, and this is how I see the situation
Oxy is not interested in the game. Commodore agreed to play for him whenever he can (thanks Commodore!), but his availability is very limited. Khmer also has 0 chance of winning the game
From where I'm sitting, I think wetbandit has a chance to win - but he said he has little to no interest in the game
I have interest in the game, but I see Azza's research, and know that my chance of winning the game is very low
Considering all this, I'm happy to concede to Azza if everyone else is - just to get this game finished. I don't think we will be able to play it out to conclusion any time soon

I'm willing to continue playing, but at this pace I have no real interest.

So do you want to find a permanent replacement again, or concede?

I should amend or even retract my previous statement "I'm in the same boat as Oxy." I'd like to keep playing, but the turn pace dissuades me from applying much effort. Should we get to a faster pace, I'd be much more interested.
I think our efforts at finding a replacement are not likely to be fruitful given that there was already a post in general. While we are very grateful for the contributions from Commodore, especially given his limited time, we still need a more lasting solution to keep turns rolling. Here are my preferences:
1. Someway to convert Oxy to AI (if that is possible); even though Azza initially objected, I think this is a viable solution now, two months later
2. Beg and plead for a replacement; even the bare minimum at this point
3. I think I have a good case for a draw or split victory with Azza

May as well call it if you're going to turn Oxy to AI, massively changes the dynamic of the game to the point that anything that happened afterwards could be argued as who took advantage of the AI better which would spoil the game IMO.
If the game were to play to its conclusion, I think the player in my position would win more often than not, so I'd be disappointed with an outcome where it ended in a split victory or a draw. Not that it's an unassailable lead by any means, but it's not insignificant either.
