What should be revealed in starting BFC? C
a) Edit terrain so that all food resources can be made visible.
b) Manually reveal tiles in fog of war.
c) It's ok, just reveal as many as possible.

I'm tentatively interested, though I'm not really feeling the whole crazy variant plan, seems like it wouldn't be so much fun in practice. Are you thinking AW or not?

Alright, you can count me in. I have a mild preference against AW, but I'm good either way.
How many players do you think? 4-6 seems about right for PBEM

Not a signup since my hands are full with 2 games already.
I would advise against a setup like this, because even though it looks like there is a lot of variety there, in fact there will just end up being 2-3 right choices and a bunch of ways to terribly screw yourself before the game starts.
I can volunteer to provide a map and/or interesting setup constraints if you like.

I'd be interested in smallish map AW PBEM. Not sure about the crazy variant stuff you're proposing, or the need to ban Sury (especially if not banning Willem).

I'd also be interested in playing in a PBEM. 4-6 players, AW or not-AW (AI Diplo then), not interested in the "Choose your Start" options you've proposed though.

Yeah I perfectly okay with a standard game. I not really good on planning this kinda thing so maybe someone with more experience with this can help. Maybe Seven if he wants.
We have four people(tentative) so far maybe we can start trowing ideas about some features while waiting for a fifth person.

If you want to use a Torusworld map it probably won't even need balancing, just get someone to generate a couple, pick the one they think is the most fun, then randomise you gets which start location. A 4 player game would probably work best on a 28*28 map size as well.
