made Seven pay for my land a bit, heh. I feinted withdrawing these troops for a turn, then came back and hit him with some cats. i have a bigger stack at my capital, but I'm sure he won't make the same mistake twice. his blitzkrieg attack was crazy fast, he had 3-move galleys and moved through my cities into inland-lakes and stuff. not that I could do much, as I had 95% of my remaining troops up near Haram, but still, the invasion was really well executed.

If it makes you feel better you can document how you crushed your friends in the other pitboss game. Was that the "BadMap" game you guys had me rush a map for?

We play with full diplo because everyone on there is an asshole and we think it makes for a funnier game. Obviously this results in a couple of players trading key techs like Construction and Metal Casting to joey, who was playing as Joao/China and had close to twice the cities of the people in second place (me, and another guy). The guy who traded Joey Construction, in particular, was supposed to be part of an alliance that was planning on dogpiling and attacking joey.

It was pretty funny but wasn't what ended the game. Two of the players had massive tracks of land with absolutely no food anywhere for at least 50 tiles outside of their capital lol. Everyone else's land was already pretty poor, but these people just had absolutely nothing - not even happiness resources, and sometimes not even metal to make up for it. Lots of people had horses in a fourth ring city while others hand them close to the capital etc. Kind of an interesting map, and I appreciate that you made it (even though there are some players on our forum that believe its a giant conspiracy by joey to rig the map in his favor... though I suppose we can't rule anything out ) but it sorely needed a second person to look over it and catch some of that.
