Thanks guys. Fyi, map tiles are finished. What is missing are normalizing the start positions of everyone and putting down all the resources. That should be done later today.

Well, the map is for the most part done and I can't put in a 13th player without screwing the whole balance and starting all over (what I won't do).
Therefore the choice is between 12 players on my map or 13 most likely on a B&S-map (though someone else would have to roll that, I don't have time to search for one that is suitable). I don't care either way and won't be upset if you go with the 13-player approach. I just can't take care of it for you.
(And while I wait how you guys decide I'll already post the map in the lurker thread to get feedback.)

flug, feel free to ded-lurk someone. At some point, everyone needs a day or two away from civ and you can get in the driver's seat that way. Some teams surely would love someone to help keep their PYFT rating up.
Thanks for putting effort into the map to get it right, Serdoa. We're still going to blame you for everything, obviously, but before we get a shot of how bad things are I thought I'd let you know I appreciate what you've done.
That said, omg, no three hammer plant and double gold? Do you hate me?

Screenies sometimes from now till an hour. They should be final, but I reserve the right to change tiny bits if really necessary for one reason or the other.
For how I decided who gets what start: Start positions are randomly distributed. Means they all have a number and I will generate a random list from 1-12 with your names (similar to what we did already for pick) and you'll get the start according to the number generated.
