My point is, this is very similar to things for which he has been such an ass to Plemo (who, by the way, was the first to play this turn).
FYI from having played with him a ton, Commodore is US Central time, so him logging in around 6:30pm local time sounds extremely normal to me. I know he's capable of often playing earlier, but I would not expect him to do so with a high leverage turn. Sounds like the turn rolled at an unfortunate time.

Commodore has been an utter and absolute ass to Plemo who was forced (by Commodore, among others) to play complicated turns in two-three front wars in highly inconvenient time windows while dealing with real-life stuff. From now on Commodore is the only person who will get zero consideration and understanding from me when it comes to turn pace issues.

So, to be clear, were it anyone else but Commodore, I would have no problem with the delay.

When I logged in, I clicked through a silly peace offer from Superdeath who asked me for 52 gold for some reason, and was greeted by a diplo screen from Commodore. He wants white peace. If he wanted peace anyway, why do all this shit to me? Anyway, I launched a golden age, revolted out of Theocracy - and discovered I forgot to draft before I did that. Hence, my request for "oops" reload. If any lurkers are here, please, sort this out before I am back to play in ten hours.

To be clear: Commodore's peace offer will not disappear on reload, right? I'll be given the option to accept it again? Sorry, this is a silly question, I know, but I am a bit out of my wits right now.

Can you just post screenshot including event log; will then reload.
Yes you will get a chance to re accept peace offer.

Yes, sorry:
This is all that happened this turn from the POV of my civ. The intention is to accept peace with Commodore (god, yes) and revolt to the same civics, just draft four units of Infantry before losing Theocracy. This was the plan since forever ago, I just completely forgot about that.

There will be a break in reporting here. What follows is a short summary of what is going on in the game from my POV.
The main thing. Commodore is not trying to win the game. I suspect he gave up quite a while ago because otherwise, I cannot explain why Tarkeel still lives. But now this is beyond doubt.
If he was trying to win he would have accepted my NAP. You see, he can improve his position faster than I can improve mine. I need to deal with Piccadilly who has 100+ Riflemen. They can all take city garrison 3 and get odds on pinch-promoted Infantry while defending in a city. So this is no joke. By contrast, Commodore has the means to cut through Tarkeel and Plemo like a knife through hot butter. Tarkeel, I think, has most of his cities coastal, so he can literally be eliminated in 1-2 turns with the logistic capacity Commodore possesses and after that, Plemo will not be a challenge at all. Commodore can net himself almost thirty cities in, like, fifteen turns.
I essentially offered him an opportunity to do that when I offered NAP because I think it would increase the chances of winning for us both at the expense of Miguelito. Because, sure, in that scenario, when we both do our conquests, Commodore would (arguably) become slightly stronger than me but I would be able to work constructively with Pindi and Mig. We would have a system with two near-equal superpowers, leaving a lot of room for diplomatic maneuvering both for us and lesser powers. I am not even certain I would do well in such a system but it would certainly make for a much more interesting game.
Now we are locked in a system where Pindicator is Commodore's bitch and Commodore is Miguelito's bitch. This pegs Mig as the most likely winner, because even though he is currently behind, he has no threats to worry about. My only chance to break out of this system is to get nukes fast enough to be able to exploit the window where I am the only one who has them. This is what I am working towards but I do this with no joy as I believe the game has become way more dull and linear than I expect from late-game Civ multiplayer.

I don't necessarily agree with you on everything here, but I can certainly understand and do sympathise with your perspective (fwiw I have also talked about this in the lurker thread over the last week). I am sad to see you taking a break from reporting this one. I can't say I'm rooting for you (can never root for the leading player ), but I have been enjoying this thread more than any other on RB in the last year or two. I hope some time off gives you new hope!

Thanks for support Amica and I am happy that there are people who enjoy my writings. Would be curious to read your thoughts in the lurker thread after the game.
