Com, Com, Com...When are you going to build a galley? Build a worker? Where is the second city going?

You need a granary ASAP and then whip everything you can and leave the capital at size 3 working specialists. Fishing into Pottery into BW into Sailing...

I like his plan. And that is without knowing he moved into his copper (edit: not on, buts its below the east dye, all of them are diagonal). He has 1 mainland city (or 2 if he goes 2nd ring in the jungle) that are seafood, so he can avoid AH.

Man I hate SD moving so much. Again I was looking for something that didn't look horrible aesthetically and start wise. SD's start almost sent this map back on both counts and now he is making it worse! (for the record I find Commodore's start fascinating if a little under powered)

I think the way I would have played that start is to do agriculture and do a second worker. Mine the sheep. Do BW > wheel and then go do two Imp cities. He can still do that, but now he has more travel time to mine the sheep and he deprived himself of the strongest starting tile anyone got...... He gains net two turns on the worker which isn't nothing, but the movement times over the hills is going to negate that fairly easily. Also, he doesn't have the sheep to work for the first turns now as well.

That is due to his own bad decisions. Nothing to do with the map.

I'd have just played SDs start straight regardless of the start techs, given the reduced tech costs of Tiny and lower hammer output: Agri into AH then head to BW then Pottery, but don't plan for an early granary due to lack of cottage tiles. Just plan to stagnate on one food resource and a bunch of mines. The downside is lack of cottages, but moving on this map script will not improve that.

I didn't even realize I was an admin for the game lol. Charriu if you can let me know how. I see how to extend the timer, but I'm not familiar with how to reload / anything else.

There's a point "Load game". Click that title. Then you can choose the login from the drop down and click load game. It takes a moment to reload the game so be patient.
