BUT once i noticed that several items you can simply shop(!) are traded for multiple high runes it was easy to collect the needed fonds together.

Heh. WoW is really bad about this, at times, depending on the server. Stuff that can be bought from NPC vendors goes for absurd amounts in the AH, because people just don't know there is a vendor that (sometimes) sells that item.

That was irritating. Playing it safe, indeed, with a wind Druid. Killed Hell Council nice and steady like. Worked methodically to the left looking for stairs to Durance 2.

What is more irritating, I had just found a +3 matriarch jav for my amazon, and was just looking for WP in Durance to end the evening.

I understand more than you may think.

It wasn't necessarily a boss. Also 2+ plain hell diff dolls can do you in since each does up to 649 blast damage as you can check here. The critical point is dolls' blast radius when they die. You may be safe when they die at the outer-most edge of your Hurricane but i won't bet on that. Against dolls I won't use Hurricane at all as i won't fight them with Warcry ever again. It's the merc's job to kill them.

Since I have found my other LoD package and running 2 accounts, I am in the habit of lvling 2 toons at a time so there's chance to get dem phat lootz when one dies.

Alice changed his gear and finally used up his sockets for max Fire and Lite resists, then transferred a Dwarf Star and a Wisp Projector so he can survive without being too scary.

Plus, Alice's lvl31 Bone Prison can hold D in place...

I have shopped a PMH stick for my merc but did prevent D from healing. maybe the merc has yet penetrated D's DR. Damn, looking for the Impaler, I know I have one and just found another, but I might have trashed the second.

If I don't answer in game, I might be out to get my daily Starbucks.

Thanks doc for sitting in and better luck at shopping for PMH javs. Just the thought of having someone more capable to loot my corpse than my mule helped put my mind at easy and be more bold.

I first brought in the Impaler to jab at D but that didn't seem to work. I need to test that more. IIRC, way back when, the Blackhorn's Face had the same problem..

I brought in ZonOMG (cus none of my other toons would have the dex to hit D) and hit D with the PMH javs which did the trick.

Also iirc, we tested PMH way back when, it worked for the duration of the game, even when all players have left and rejoined minutes after, on and off. This time, I had to bring ZonOMG in to throw some PMH goodness a second time.

The Anni was disappointing stat-wise
