Same time next Saturday should work for me as well.
The lag was pretty bad, though playable for me because I was watching downloaded video in between turns. The worst ping was only 170 or so which isn't terrible, so I wonder if either someone has a really slow PC or a really high-latency (like satellite internet) connection.
Two things to keep in mind for round two:
1) Make sure to turn on stack attack, quick combat offense, quick combat defense, no combat zoom, and no combat animations.
2) While the lag makes handling units within a stack problematic, it does NOT really affect units on tiles by themselves. So I could speed my turns by issuing a worker command, clicking on the next worker, and issuing the next command manually. That was MUCH faster than waiting for civ to advance to the next unit.
