My preference for mod vs no mod is probably a very slight leaning towards no mod, but I'm happy to play with the mod. If we use the mod, I'd much prefer to use the one without corporations.
Originally, it was, and I'd kinda like to test it. I'm voting that we play the no corps mod version on "vaguely normal" map settings
Yeah, let's just play with the mod. I still would like to see India banned, since the only fast worker nerf I saw was to reduce to 2 moves + mobility, which still makes them the clear best UU/civ in the game. Other than that though, let's ban nothing at all and see what happens with picks and such.

I'm really happy with anything. I'd rather not use corporations, but not because of any specific concerns/issues/problems with them but just because like Scooter I don't really like them as a whole. That said, if we want to test them I'll play with them. Just need a ded lurker to help me plan for one so I'm not totally screwing myself.
What is it everyone sees in India? You could all play as vanilla India and it wouldn't phase me as much as having to deal with old AGG Rome, or a PRO Inca.
The quick start you can get snowballs dramatically... I think the track record of India in these games speaks for itself. This is all the games which have not had India banned:
PB1: Finished 2nd, nearly won PB2: Won dominantly PB3: Was a major force when game ended PBEM6: Currently leading PBEM7: Won PBEM8: In the top two (can't remember if they're in first or second) PBEM12: Currently leading
In favour of mod, here. I thought the intial question was whether to play with the mod as it is now or wait for the Corp fix.
I hardly use corporations myself, so I am fine using Krill's no-corp mod mod and get this started sooner than later. mh
