Do you run break-even or do you urgently need archery?

Also what are your city names?

As much as possible i run binary ... changed it before finishing the turn in the last screen

i don't know if i need it urgently but given the tiny size and AW i'd rather play too defensively than not ...

City names are internationally popular non-english songs

How's it going?
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

started by growing vertically quite early (only 3 cities), giving me a nice bonus on GNP (my capital is size 8, soon 9, working tons of cottages), while i'm playing defensive on my borders ... tried probing cheetah with an Skirmisher, Axe and a Chariot, landing on the hill just south of Dragostea, but completely failed getting anything out of it (losses to 19.4% (axe against Skirmisher), 32.4% (chariot retreating against chariot) and two ~80% chariots against a damaged axe and a damaged chariot) ... otherwise i'm waiting out on Horseback riding to be finished so i can throw some Horse Archers after, most likely Boldly since he's very aggessive towards me ... i'd love to nail his copper city since it gives quite a culture press on Baba Yetu

From what i can see Boldly have settled 1 west of the horses (Tundra Hill) ... a small stack of fun stuff (say ... 4-5 Horse Archers tongue) landing on the wheat would be great ... specially sinces it look like Megaton is underdefended (and he believes he is scouting nicely by the axe on the foresthed hill)

captured my first city ... ended up throwing everything at Kryten (Slowcheetahs Horse city), after deflecting his attention with a marauding HA from the other border (North of Baba Yetu) ... ended up being me with 5 HAs (two of them somewhat damaged from removing a spearman/Axeman defender from the tundra hill), a Skirmisher and a Warrior against 2 spearmen (one of them freshly whiped) and one of his city garrision warriors ... sacced the Skirmisher to soften up the fortified spearman and sent Flanking Horse Archers after them, managing to withdraw on both Spears, cleaning up with a damaged c1shock HA, a c1HA and my warrior, followed up with sending all my troops in there to heal ... he might be able to kill one or two of them (one of my HA's are Flanking/Sentry, so i can see that he only have an Chariot in range, and a spear and a Warrior (and PYRAMIDS, a settler and two workers) in the capital ... but i have my CG warrior in transfer from Dragostea (eating a turn of 2pop unhappiness there), which is most likely going to be promoted to an Axe

to be rude ... i renamed the city "Trololololo"
