Thanks for the reminder, I'll be careful to say nothing about PB11 here. I've noticed on these forums that even the most innocent mentions of that game get the wheels in my mind turning, like asking myself what they have seen to make them say that specific innocent sounding thing about the game. So I'm pretty sensitive to unintentional spoilers now.
Plunder: Yeah, it seems Mindy is more experienced than either of us. Hopefully we'll fare better in this game than the real Mindy McCready.
We should at least be able to get into the top 5 for post count and thread views. With Pindicooter, Lewger, and Commodore, there's absolutely no hope of top three there! And what's up with Will Blunder having more thread views than us.

Ya, what's up with that? those imposters! >.<
When is the next roll of leader-civ-combo's?
Also had there ever been a game with snake-pick leader-civ and then reverse starting-position? ^.^
And what about a theme?

I think it's as soon as Brick is convinced that the first round is finished. Main holdup - The Black Sword expressed interest in joining but hasn't said anything since.

I've never played a game of MP in my life! If I'm the most experienced, we could be in for some hurt.

mmmm
Is there an overview of the RB-mod, or is the OP of http://realmsbeyond.net/forums/showthread.php?tid=3623 still valid (last edit December 2012)?

First reaction is I love it!
The Terrace is nerfed, only giving +1 culture, but it's still arguably the best building in the game?
The Quechua loses combat 1, and still gets +100% against archers. It's a "nice to have" unit, not a game changer.
Starting techs are Myst / Agr. Agr is probably the best tech to start with. Myst isn't great, but we won't get screwed on start.
EXP loses cheap granaries (too bad, it would have incredible synergy with Terrace) but gets +2 health still, and increases bonuses on workers, WBs to 35%, and gets cheap Market, Aqueduct, Grocer, Harbor. That's a lot of bonuses! My feeling is that this is even a little too powerful now.
SPI is the same. At worst it gives the economic bonus from no anarchy, which isn't a trivial thing. At best it opens up strategic possibilities with civics that others don't have, especially in the late game. Cheap temples make the monk economy trio more valuable.
Anyone who wouldn't take this combo?
Edit: Plunder, the definitive changeset for 2.0.3 (I believe) is now the first post in the PB13 technical thread.

It does make it hard for me to give good advise now, since I noticed you are a very active ded-lurker =D And rather experienced in the game too =D
Thanks Plunder! Like I said I'm a green on MP althought I did learn quite a bit from ded-lurking AT in PB9 for a while. And Civ4 has been by far my favourite SP game.
As for 'good' advice,...all you can do is call it like you see it. Don't let me get in the way of that. As you nicely put it I'm up for an active discussion about pros-cons and there's certainly many things that I have to learn about the game.

I was reviewing the RB Mod info yesterday and I concluded the same about Expansive. Its just as powerful as before, maybe more, but mid game rather than early on and in commerce rather than production.

That really changes the value of the Quechua. Having no fear of barb archers is nice and we can pick up barb cities for a song. Very good if this map is large enough for space inbetween the many civs.

I consider Spiritual to be very powerful. With slavery nerf + improved early Workshops, Serfdom and Caste become attractive alternatives. And the religions civics are always good.
We'll have to consider trying to land a religion. The Terrace means that we don't need one, but Spiritual means that we want one.
Overall it looks like we could be very strong in the mid to late game.
