Well, the meta may even change drastically considering the amount of changes in this mod. I don't think it will, but I could easily be wrong. Plus there are a bunch of changes to make the end games...easier to finish, what with Culture victory not requiring so many religions so it acts as a clock.

How did you generate such a bland map? I've never seen Torusworld generate anything like that before.

Fuck it, this start is going to be pretty slow due to only having 4 forests. There are two peaks 888 and 887 of the capital, as well as 221 and 222, so moving the settler at all limits max output later on in the game. Not a reason not to move, but the sheep and rice are positioned such that moving gives up one of them. Settling in place requires cottaging the hills to get more than 12 cottages.
I was hoping to get CRE/PHI/IMP, but with this start I'm not sure how much emphasis needs to be placed on expansion. The resources are just in obnoxious positions and slow growth just that little bit...

As long as we're still making up crazy game ideas you can throw out another mod revision real quick, grant Woody I to your scout and say Woody I also spawns forests on every tile the unit walks on until T5. Start the game, and then find out that you're walking and spawning jungle.

I did consider giving scouts W2 and G2 but that'd be ridiculous.
I'm probably going to start crying and just settle in place but if this weren't a test game I'd move the scout 21 then probably follow with the settler. Wasting 3 worker turns to moving unless I can farm/road/cottage the tile 2 of the start location is just soul crushing to me.
