Huts produced a pittance of gold and a map. Looks like we're near Fergus, hope that's not near Hiding Kneel.
Gold and Bones...nice commerce spot to reach for.

The RNG forgives my weedy capital location and gives a lovely 3/2/0 tile to recompense. Nice!
Still should be 1 west.

This week's impulsive decision was to explore the dungeon...it was just sitting there, doing nothing to me, but I had to poke it. Now I'm sick and have nobody but myself to blame for it.
Okay, well, besides blaming that darn RNG.
I don't consider the choice to explore the ruins all that impulsive...they've got to go. Sadly, they didn't...and now I'm possessed and pissed.
Lizards suck. Next explorer I'm naming "Spock".
Mishaps and silly mayhem out of the explorers aside, Sandstone is in fact doing very well right now. Worker is dropping a turn farming the 1SW tile, then will start work on the corn. The shrooms, then the corn farm, then the mirror...actually, upon reflection, maybe I want to research Exploration next and road to the next city (gold/dragon bones/sheep/wheat) over fiddling my thumbs a dozen turns between finishing the three allowed farms and actually being able to mine/chop.
Better capital now than before, thanks to that bonus extra 5-yield tile.

Oh, right...religion plus creative? Silliness. The extra border popination doesn't reveal anything new but it fogbusts nicely. Heya griffon. Got an ill lightbringer cooking atop another dungeon, whilst warrior #2 hopes for one more turn of no ruin-births so that he can camp the spawn point intimately. We're in a lovely little area here.
Possessed warrior, meanwhile, bustles over to impale himself on the goblin fort.

So it occurred to me that Mr. Possessed is just kind of angry and wants to kill things...so even though he's unmanageable, he's a fine backstop against a single known threat. So this fight, while risky, wasn't impulsive. The explore-lair-before-promoting kind of was though...this time, result was a blessing, so apparently those ruins were just freaking loaded with ghosts.
Maybe next task is following up and popping the fort once ghostman clears it?

Very, very little in the early game.

Huh. Well that's disappointing.
Things I found out this turn: Crazed enraged AI-controlled berserk warrior will still dodge across a river before killing goblins. That made this a cakewalk (Poison Immunity, remember).
Yay! Until he goes crazy again.

I would be reporting impulsive decisions, but unfortunately I'm under siege at the moment; the goblins of Westfort are spawning hot and heavy, and the lands they are ravaging are where I want to settle next. I'm not completely certain where exactly to go; there is a distressing lack of food out here. But I know that my research is a sad, sad crawl right now so that plains incense might well be worth it despite the miserable food.
Of course, the next settler after that claims wheat/sheep/gold/Dragon Bones, so that's a biiig research boost.
