Only Auro and Khan grew at EOT11 with my capital. Sucks that the Lion ate the scout EOT at 24% odds. Still trying to find more food. First warrior scouts SW, second warrior secures horse site, 3rd warrior will scout south.

Busy turn, but this very weird. If my C&D is correct, why is Thoth staying at size 1 so late? Because Thoth had a double score increase next turn, I am fairly sure that Dhal was not stuck at size 1 this turn. Auro researched mining I believe. Khan researched BW.
T13
Guessing that Thoth grew to 2 and researched mining.

First to size 3. yay? Very tricky settling spots. Also saw auro's scout S of gold. I guess we are closer than i thought.

Revised C&D to that Thoth researched AH.
T15
Dhalp and Thoth also grew to size 3.

I am guessing that Khan researched Agriculture, and Thoth grew to size 4, researched Mining, and made a 2nd Warrior to overtake Khan in top power.
Building worker first since I need a lot of turns to road to 2nd city site and improve wheat+horse. Plan is to make settler after worker (losing 3 overflow hammers ), send it to the wheat horse site. Capital then will make another worker while pottery is researching, which will start laying down 3 cottages for the capital. Too bad I had a forest growth on 2N1E of capital, which means that I have to cottage a non-river tile. Capital builds chariot then warrior, working the 3H tile at size 5 instead of a cottage. Then at size 6, build settler for double food city.
2nd city will build a warrior while growing to 2, working just pastured horse instead of wheat on last turn it will be at size 1 so with 2 overflow hammers, it can 7 turn a settler at size 2 exactly.
So I will go for the double food city as the 3rd/4th city which means that I need to divert the chariot I will be building while growing cap to 6 to that area to secure it. Need to send probably 2 warriors to the east to scout to see where I need to plant the sheep city.
BW will be done on turn 36, at the same turn where settlers from capital and 2nd city are complete. 3rd and 4th cities will be planted ton T37.

You can see Thoth's scout 2N of the desert hill. Auro researched TW.
T19
Looks like Khan planted his 2nd city this turn. Dhalp grew to 4 also.

I will see if killing Thoth's scout will bite me later, but he seen my capital and I dont want him to stand on the cow next turn. Got 2xp which will help when this warrior goes exploring. Looks like Auro had his only warrior killed.

Henge before settler. Delaying the 2nd city is not likely worth it imo. I revised that Dhalp researched Hunting on T9 and just researched Mining. 1 Worker moved to Desert hill this turn so the settler only takes 1 turn in transit.
T22
Auro planted his 2nd city and grew the cap to 3 as well. At this point, tech guessing is volatile with warriors building but I guess Auro got Hunting and Khan got fishing?
T23
Kept settler in borders to avoid paying 1g on supply. 2nd city will be founded next turn.

Problems #2-4 I think are very close overall in rankings but since I planted this coastal city, I wanted to make a point about Housing. Is a city like this viable as the 2nd city in civ6? No because it does not have fresh water, which severely punishes the growth capacity of cities. I suppose this is a plus on flavor but it feels so constrained and unfun that you feel like you have to plant the 2nd city next to fresh water, despite a possible lack of resources. I believe that players like watching cities growth. Granary and aquaducts are so expensive for what they do, and if you plant a city with no access to even build an aquaduct, that city is sorry for a long time.
In civ4 news, Thoth researched BW. Got Auro's graphs and even correctly guessed that he lost a warrior.
T25
Khan grew his cap to 3.
T26
Working the 2f1c tile since the foodbox will cap out regardless. Will use avoid growth to rocket the capital to size 6. Not shown, Thoth revolting to slavery so his 2nd city will be founded next turn.
