Maybe panic is premature. Studying the graphs and the demographics, Mackoti isn't rival top in power.

Mackoti's power is ~200k, rival best is 238k. So maybe Mackoti is building up in response to his neighbour building up. One can hope.

Yeah, I wouldn't panic. Maybe slowly make sure to build stuff up to not be too juicy of a target, but that doesn't look like a huge gap to me considering he likely has more pop and tech power points than we do as well. His actual increase in power isn't actually that much more than Gaspar's say--it's just that he started at a higher point.

Well, that explains why I was surprised to not see the typical aggressive novice settling - you were doing it in the other direction. wink Taking the eastern cow/rice was very aggressive, everyone else was able to claim theirs.

GG points are not affected by tile culture, just tile ownership.

I never met you or Gaspar, but I was pretty sure you were on the far side of Mackoti from me because of his military push and subsequent great general. I figured it must have been a repeat of your pbem43 experience. wink

I was very annoyed at you for building GL. I didn't expect anyone to chase the marble spot that fast after MoM was already taken. Worked out well for you though.

I've still yet to see someone pull off a good war chariot rush (mine doesn't count) around here. Though we should! Almost as good as horse archers, significantly cheaper and earlier, can appear before someone has their counter unit.

Maybe... super tight maps with difficult copper. So like 43, except without me fucking up lol
