IMP can get settlers quick enough without whipping. You can swap the first two food resources away to pick up plains hill mine and plains hill forest to keep production up.
We are playing with barbs off, so i shouldnt need to make too many WC's. Reputation, diplo, and hopefully a farther distance between starts than the last one should make this a pretty safe opener. Whatever is most optimal/most farmers gambit.

Charriu Pericles of Russia
Ginger __ of China (up next)
Bing __ of Mali (on deck)
Mjmd __ of America
Superdeath Suleiman of __
Thoughts: Charriu is going to do some gimmicky strat to get to Russia's UB as fast as possible. Probably by birthing 15 GS's? idk. His ability to always be in a chipper mood will probably prevent him from straying from this course even if he has to pull a Magic Science and be on a single island tile. I can see him being ignored by everyone except Bing (or me) until he has either bulb'd his way into something, or has already practically won.
Ginger will win this game by TKO.
Bing (does he have a dedlurker?) Might actually have a decent showing. So long as he doesnt get caught off guard, should be interesting.
Mjmd is as dangerous as ever, but so long as i dont get pissy and he see's a way to be peaceful with me i feel like we can work something out.
I have a dedlurker. That easily up's my odds of winning in this field to 20%.
And yes, i could post that im taking Egypt, but i dont wanna influence the other picks until then. Dont want any weird counter picks like more AGG people for better spears. ect.

Entirely your prerogative to not pick until it's back to you.

PHI can beeline Education with bulbs, and gets the Russian UU at half price. Militarily a deep beeline down the middle of the tech tree suggests the possibility that Charriu could skip knights altogether and head straight for Cuirassier (which do not require Guild as a prerequisite. From there Great Scientists can bulb pretty much to Rifling if he plans it out so he might be looking at getting Cossacks online early as a win condition.

Three out of five chose PHI, but not MJMD with America I think he will find that the library doesn’t need to be nerfed.
Please check if the corn is wet or dry when you play T0 so we get it right in the sim. I suggest scouting E-NE towards corn, then probably clockwise along the eastern river and then skirting south past the ivory, before turning west. The reason being that your 2nd ring culture will reveal a lot of the floodplains river near wheat.

I am happy that I have an identifying gimmick on this forum now.
EDIT: And good luck!

Simmed a little more. Earliest settler 2-whip was T27, only 1 turn faster. Tech was overall slower due to delaying Fishing and the commerce from the crabs lake. But 2 warriors were completed early instead of just 1 later.
Chopping 1 forests instead of building the mine gets settler EOT26 (with revolt already completed, since settler completes on same turn anyway) Bronze Working > Fishing. Also gets 2 warriors early.

I will for sure check that info regarding irrigated or not. Together, we will conquer our neighbors be peaceful teching monsters.

Assume SIP, Mining-BW-Fishing? Or does the math point us elsewhere? Worker first going towards wheat then corn. (trying to get my head in the game of a new pb and not just winging it again)
