AI Earth

Is it too much to ask to do it with an AI mod? Because for K-Mod, for example, a mountain divide would not be a problem. Also, K-Mod can do decent intercontinental invasions which might be relevant for this map.

I could be talked into that. BUT i like the changes that CTH has for some civs. Ill leave it to vote

Can I ask what changes in particular do you dislike? I think they are few and mostly reasonable. The biggest I can think of is cargo space on boats but that one in particular can be easily modded away in XML

I much prefer K-Mod for singleplayer games (or its successor, AdvCiv).

For an AI game, I could go either way. It makes the AI so less frustrating stupid things, but it also irons out the personality some leaders have (eg Izzy is less all-in on religions, because she is more competent). I'm happy either way to watch. smile

Not long ago I had a game in K-Mod where Izzy died to my HA rush exactly because she was busy spamming missionaries. So, she keeps enough of her personality in K-mod to be distinct. I noticed people sometimes believe K-mod turns all AIs into monomaniacal unit-spammers identical to each other but in my experience, it is a misconception.

Once sign ups are done, we can have a poll to see if K-mod or Charriu mod wins out. Doesnt matter to me. I still think creating land bridges for Japan, and one connecting (remove aztec mountain) north and south america would be best. Also adding military resources to starts that magically dont have them.
