Beta Weekend Nov. 5-7: organizing

Guild Wars is in danger of losing my business. I'm tired of this runaround, jumping through hoops. ArenaNet claims that this Preorder stuff is routine and becoming the industry standard, but that's bullshit. I've never even heard of it before, and I've been playing games for a long time.

My local retailers don't have it in stock. Amazon won't ship it early. ArenaNet did not even have the decency to ANSWER my emails on the subject, which were sent to the link they posted. ArenaNet lays it all on the retailers, but the retailers don't seem to think the same way ArenaNet does, and nobody seems able to solve the problem without putting ME through a large chunk of wasted time. This is beyond ridiculous.

If ArenaNet doesn't value my time, I can play something else.

OK, I have the Preorder and the game on order from EB. They don't have it in stock, don't know when they'll get more of them. I'm done chasing after this one. I'll wait it out. If EB gets it, I'll arrange to pick it up. Otherwise, I'm going to focus on other things for now.
