Is there a way to completely 4-way mirror our starts? Meaning the huge all-land map has one land "square" mirrored 4 times? I'm not sure if there's a script that does that.

Krill thinks he can do it by creating a Mirror map, and copying the same quarter four times. So if the tile 3N of my start is a FP, the tile 3N of everyone else's start is also a FP. This removes the "Center Line Of Obviousness", which isn't a bad thing.

I vote rotational symmetry and a perfect square map. You don't want there to be 2 different borders that appear twice, you want the same border 4 times.

Got an XML error when trying to load up the mod:

Tag: BUILDING_CORPORATION_7 in Info class was incorrect
Current XML file is: xml\Units/Civ4UnitInfos.xml

Then it did it 7 more times with each number. Then 4+ more, but then it loaded an appears to be working... lol

So we can use it I guess no problem as it appears to be working.

Oops. I thought I caught all of those. When removing the corporations, I had to find their references everywhere, which took some digging, but I forgot about the ability of Great People to build the Corporation HQs, and that the Barbarian civ isn't allowed to build executives.

I've updated the link, so PBEM6 Mod works now, without any warning signs.

So, the mod works, and since I don't want to risk this game getting forgotten,

Confirming sign-ups:
1. Cyneheard
2. Lewwyn
3. Scooter
4. Nakor

Oh: Why the Intercontinental trade bonus was removed from the mod: I believe it was to limit the power of trade routes in creating too much of an incentive to ICS and have a few junky island cities to fuel it.

Note: I believe that I can, through XML only, remove Espionage completely so that No Espionage could work:
1) Remove all Spy Specialist Slots
2) Convert the GSpy National Wonders to GMerchant points (Since WW are already gone)
3) Remove all sources of Espionage from buildings
4) Disable Spies (Likely just switching them to Future Tech)
5) Have the NoEspionage setting not increase border expansion costs
RBMod needed some DLL work so that it could optionally function normally with Espionage; that is not an issue here (and I don't think I have a DLL build of just NoEspionage without the other DLL changes that we made. And this game wouldn't work the same with the Slavery nerf).

Things to decide:
1. Leaders: Joao of Inca for all; Everyone Choose With Duplicates; Snake Pick With a Banlist; Snake Pick Without a Banlist; Other
2. Map Size: Huge
3. Mirrored Starts: Yes.
4. Difficulty: Noble
5. Wrapping: Cylindrical or Toroidal at mapmaker's discretion
6. Active Espionage: None; I think I can implement a NoEspionage variation, so we don't have to worry about Research or City Visibility
7. Barbarians: Raging; Normal; None
8. World Wonders: None. If you want some wonders, we'll have to make a list of what should be included.
9. Victories: Space only (Only Diplo and Cultural are even plausible, and people playing for culture won't necessarily try to REX all of their land, which is a big problem for whoever isn't their neighbor)
10. Diplomacy: CTON (Note: GMerchants can still work despite no OBs...)
11. Tech Trading: None

I think that's everything which needs voted on; what are people's schedules?

Slot me into an early evening EST, but for now my schedule is flexible.

If this is only a test of the economic aspects of the RBMod, then your settings are ideal to test that.

However, I set out envisioning as a no military domination/extermination/flipping game not a space race. tongue Also: rotational symmetry rather than copy/flip for identical starts and identical borders.
