No war for the moment.

Pics?

yeah I promised those, but do you really need to see pics of me going around with my hand out? smile

(ie offering dud resources for something of benefit for me.....I owe Bob a resource trade. smile Horse for Nightmare is not a trade. It's a loan against a future resource. )

Also: Using Life 1 on Hell terrain has not produced expected results.

IIRC, when Hell terrain gets converted back to normal terrain it keeps the Hell resource (if it was a resource tile to begin with). But my two Nighmares are now Cows. And my former Cotton that got Hell terrained into Razorweed is now Silks.

*crosses fingers and hopes for more Hell terrain spread*

Hell terrain has never kept the hell resource after sanctification. Unless you mean it's supposed to keep the original resource. Not sure about that one.

This is actually coded to be fully random. If a hell terrain tile has more than one normal resource equivalent each of those has equal chance to be placed when sanctified or due to natural corruption decay.

Ah, the wonders of mathematical degeneracy.

There's natural corruption decay? How does that work? Does the corruption start decaying if the tile is taken over by someone who would normally not get hell terrain spread at the current AC level?

Each tile has a corruption counter of 0-100.
Threshold to flip is 10.
Tile gets 100 instantly if owned by Infernals, hit by Entropy Flare or Wonder effect.
Tile goes to 0 instantly if Sanctified or hit by Life Flare.
Tile gets 1 point for each neighboring tile with non-zero corruption.
If tile does not qualify for hell spread anymore due to ownership or AC change, tile looses 1 point instead.

There is also a 1 turn delay before the resource changes.

After last turn, I was all set to cry over my lost Wheat....turned into a Snake Pillar.

But now the SP is a Rice.

jive

Not as good a tile as the Wheat but it's a unique health resource. :D

I didn't realize Snake Pillars changed back into food resources. I thought those were gone forever. I guess it's just flood plains then.

Anything that counts as an overlay ( floodplains, oasis', forests, fallout etc. )

Flood plains and forests. frown

But the Rice is freaking awesome. Only source on the map assuming I can keep it. smile

Pity there are no rivers for the Brewery. frown
