I'll just leave this here....

OK, I won't just leave it at that because if this thing fails to achieve at least something, I'll look like a total dick. Also events this turn might have fucked things up. I think its important to note that I did put a decent amount of thought in to this, and (before this turn) I thought it was my best chance to win.
My scout died an early death, so the above is the land I can see. I declared war early on Yuris/Mackoti in order to get visibility on their capitol and I was punished by fate (via a lion) for my transgression.
Notice that Yuris has tundra to the south - his natural direction of expansion will be towards me - and a total of four golds. Yuris expansion has been weak, but with cheap workers and my own early error, I assumed Yuris would beat me in the early land grab.
Jokingly, I thought to myself - RUSH 'EM. But that's ridiculous! Except Yuris' copper is not a likely second city site and I have what I thought was a hidden coastal approach (only one tile can see what I thought was a 1-tile island) and AH is an unlikely early tech and I have gold from hut pops so can mask my power rating somewhat... etc. etc. In any case, I thought it through and decided there was a probability of success and a high reward even if my only accomplishment was to knock out Yuris' copper city as it was settled. At best, total control of land south to the pole. So, ya, I'm going to rush Yuris.
EXCEPT, this turn he dropped a WOODY II scout in my BFC (killed). It is possible that he has been darting in and out scouting my capitol for who knows how many turns. Which means he may know exactly what's up. Which means I'm fucked - the fact that he had a power spike a couple turns back (coincided with a tech, so I thought Archery) is evidence of some sort.
He revolted to slavery last turn - if he lacks information, I suspect he will settle a copper city next turn and I will hit it. Whatever the situation, I grew a lemon tree (accepted a weak civ), dumped out my lemonade (spurned an excellent start), and, instead, decided to huck some lemons at Yuris. LET'S HAVE A LEMON PARTY!
