Tech path would be Agri>Wheel>Pottery>Hunting>AH. Although picking Pro and whipping a granary at size 2 sounds so much better.
That would require something like Agri>Pottery>Hunting>Archery>AH and picking PRO.

If you'd like to die a little in addition to having your soul crushed you could change the game speed from normal to quick so that those wasted worker turns hurt even more.

Only question about this pick is if I can go wheel before pottery.

I really like reading your strategic thoughts and the reasoning behind your game decisions, Krill. I think you are the best game reporter around when it comes to a "how to get from this situation to a win" type of thread.
It's a pity I don't have time to read about all the changes in Smeg. Just by looking at the starting screenshot I see there's a lot of differences (and, for some reason, I find that screenshot ugly. ![alright alright](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/alright.gif) ). But I'll try to follow nonetheless.
Good luck!
On a random thought, the name of this mod reminds me of the band Muse.

I wouldn't know without simming, but is EXP/IMP, settling 1S, and building a quick settler for the sheep an option?
I have to run.

I see you picked Inca. Exp/Imp/Pro Inca sounds fun.

Part of the reason it looks ugly, I think, is that the riverside tiles don't have coins on them. But even without that difference, the sheer quantity of flat bare grass is boringly high.
