[SPOILERS]The 3 Muscateers playing Ragnar of Rome!

(October 7th, 2012, 13:23)Catwalk Wrote: Done wallowing in self pity for now smile Tried bribing Azza with Jagged Jaguar, he declined. I think that was a very generous offer, so I'm definitely up against the wall here. I'm going to try to bribe Waterbat with money, doubt it'll work. Sent him a 12 gpt proposal for a 20t NAP, will go as high as 20 gpt if needed. If I'm able to evacuate one of my fronts, I have a pretty massive army that I think I could squash the other player with. AGG + lots of barracks + Theocracy + slight tech advantage (all have maces and crossbows now, but I don't have an outdated army of axemen) + Castles is going to be really helpful. At least that's what I'm counting on smile

In hindsight, I'm pretty annoyed with myself for not accepting that offer, but at the time I wasn't expecting waterbat to have his stack slaughtered when he entered the fray.

Well the game has stalled for ages. Before that happened I'd finished off Azza (with waterbat swooping in for some of the pieces). Then feeling the world had been to peaceful for all of half a turn I declared on superjm (who is winning). I've razed a fairly crappy city of his but that's about it; we currently both have tanks, marines, bombers etc.

I have Cristo and have been using it for fun civic swaps, the kremlin is also mine and all my current gold has been going into rushbuying units.

Each turn takes about half an hour to play, and with the current gaps a lot longer because I can't remember what on earth I was doing. I don't really have time to do a full update for this game, I'll try and remember to post some pics next time im in the game though.

T178 - Coincidentally, it's T178 in PB8 also, but here's the world map:

This game looks like a stalemate on the face of it, three territories more (or less) evenly divided. I assume we banned nukes, that's the only thing I can see to break the deadlock. What's your general plan? Try to grind out a military campaign and hope to reign in superjm? Keep fighting until someone lands a spaceship? I'm sure that's how this ends, unless you guys decide to call it before then. I see you don't have graphs on Waterbat, what's he up to? And the build popup is funny. You didn't complete that many units this turn, so I guess some of those popups are for whoever is ahead of you in turn order. WAR!

I hate the late game, I hope you're still having fun with this.

Oh, and it sucks that the three teams left alive are nearly the same color. It doesn't make for a very compelling map. nope

What are the relative land percentages anyway?

Land Percentages
Me- 30.26%
Superjm- 36 %
Waterbat- 32.74%

To be honest I'm not enjoying the game all that much. There are so many units to move around. Additionally the game has never felt like 'mine'. I tend to like to grow cities from young pups in order to have a good idea where I'm going with them. Here my city management has been poor (not helped by Catwalks 9 workers). Having Cristo is quite fun though.
