Whipped some universities this turn so that I can start Oxford in capital. Focus will be on army during the next 10T. I'll convert to Nationhood and Theocracy in a few turns.

I played the turn yesterday. Dialed up mainly military builds and try to finish the few peaceful ones I've still going on. Theocracy+Nationhood will be our next choice of civics, but I had to think if converting as soon as possible or waiting couple of turns more would make sense since losing Free Speech will hurt.

It seems Serdoa is heading towards Steel instead of Rifling. So he thinks Cannons are better than rifles. At least he probably can get there faster because he could bulb Chemistry.

I've had a short dialogue with both Mackoti and WK about this. Our original plans assumed Serdoa would be heading towards Rifling and we had agreed that MAckoti and WK go towards Rifling and I'll go towards Steel. Latest plan is that I go towards MilTra, WK towards Rifling and Mackoti towards Steel. Nothing is certain in war so there is a fair chance we need to reconsider these. The idea is naturally to counter the Cannons short term with curies and longer term Cavs. Not sure my role as teching economically useless Music+MilTra is the best for me, but that is the current plan. I will need urgently also Engineering and I need to finally grab also Calendar to fight against drafting unhappiness.

Not sure why you need to dogpile anyone with those demos. wink Is nobody else in FS?

Ah right. Was in the too serious mode to spot that lol.

Also I think I'm only one having Liberalism so only one at Free Speech too. That is changing next turn when I convert again. Spiritual is getting more and more respect from me. At this stage of the game free civic switches are extremely nice feature to have and e.g. helped me a lot in culture wars.

Converted to Nationhood+Theocracy and drafted 3 maces. From next turn I'll be drafting Muskets.

Mackoti has got an intresting message from Serdoa that he forwarded to me:

Quote:I know that you, WK and plako are in an alliance against me. I also can see that plako is running away. I am not interested in war with you any longer as that will only make plako win. If you agree to not attack me till T130 I will attack plako.

Mackoti tried to sell me the idea of him accepting the deal i.e. he would say ok and we would otherwise continue as is. I didn't like it, even if it would have brought the chance of killing Serdoa's stack while entering my territory. Why bring the fight on my territory. I don't see me coming as winner from this proposition. I'll never get compensated sufficiently from my efforts by my allies.
