Agreed in lighthouse and library over a district, in that order.
On the warriors, could the one at Lys just head west immediately?

Turn 66
Quick turn around.
Now up to 39 era points. The most interesting part of this turn happened after recruiting the GA to Shur:
If England loses a harbour then I shold be able to recruit Themistocles via faith. Not like I have much other use for it.
Nitre should be known by around T74-75 right? Archer T66, HBR T67, Construction T68, then the aqueduct is built and ME should only take 6 turns with the eureka?
So the galley at Alt Selene retreats into hte city and then the city gets smashed on all three sides at once, or if the healthy blocking galley comes down for one attack then they die in a 5v2 and the north reinforcements hold the blockade at Alt Coulumb? Meanwhile Regis is blockaded from the north and the three southern boats will be the sledgehammer on falling on the anvil?
And the biremes retreat. Hunting them down?

I'll make a world map stitch tomorrow after work for posterity.
My contribution to this game: popping a relic, gifting maybe 70ish gold to keep the long boats rolling and gifting turtles.
If I play another game of Civ 6 I want to play on a land map.

From the looks of it, you also contributed tooons of strategic analysis and ideas, which is in a game situation like this probably more important than actual military contributions Plus the relic was quite important, as beating me to a pantheon pushed me onto Divine Spark and a collision course with CMF over the first religion.
Land maps have their own issues (most related to the awful land movement rules) but I definitely encourage you to stick around if there are more of these games! I am willing to bet you will already be a top Civ6 player if you do

Yes, thank you so much! It's especially useful for those of us who never got to see it in-game

Thank you for the feedback!! Very on point, as always - surely Portuguese TRs plus late campi from Japan once the perimeter was walled off would have sufficed for a strong position in the hypothetical universe where you died under a dogpile and the rest of us decided the game by stabbing each other over the ashes. FtW would have been killer AFTER this occurred, and maybe securing it (or more accurately securing Crusade or DotF to help with an early defensive situation that may still have been precarious) would have justified the holy sites and NOTHING else, but the shrines and projects were spectacularly wasteful cope
I do think a Norwegian loss would have required pretty optimal CS behavior from all of us, though. Your four CS plus your homeland were uncrackable until Cartography due to naval chokepoints, and then to keep you from snowballing I had to raze HK (which in all honesty I'm not sure I could have beaten you to, it was on the wrong side of Portugal and I went in the wrong way at first to hit Geneva). Then, the other teams had to rush their own CS and raze the ones that were too exposed while holding the others following essentislly the same blueprint as you laid out for Japan here. Then, could all three of our teams combined stop a Norway with a two-CS head start and complete control of the oceans outside our respective perimeters? maaaaaybe, but I don't think it would have been a walk-over and even with optimal defense you probably still would have found openings, eg, in the ocean channel to the west of Shodai which I don't think I could have blocked...
It's sad that I played so poorly in what seems like the last Civ6 game here, but so it goes Thanks as always for your detailed feedback
