I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

ATTACK!
“The wind went mute and the trees in the forest stood still. It was time for the last tale.”
So we've finally discovered the scope of The Pink Dot. Behold, Commodore's settling order:
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)
Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone. Gaspar Wrote:Actually, I'm pretty sure we just always build wealth. Also, collectively you two are more like ded-hecklers than than dedlurkers. Or more specifically, these guys: Quote: STATLER: Boo!

Mist attacking Commodore is good...unless you do nothing and watch Commodore's land become Mist's. What's the plan for minimizing Mist's gains? Surely, "Pink Dot" needs better management no?

Just a quick report - you already got the big news.
We did a map trade with Mistabod which gives us fairly decent view on the whole map. I'll do a full stitch later on. Spoiler: Our land does indeed still suck. Other than that, it was just an exercise in our favorite game. No, not just the tip. WE DON'T BUILD [STRIKE]WEALTH[/STRIKE] WEALTH AND RESEARCH ALL THE TIME, BUT WHEN WE DO... Beyond that, we added a few entries to the event log after the glorious first one: As advertised, Harkuf and his useless camel bulbed Banking and all those wealth and research builds let us finish Economics in 1t and bring the presence of Sir Thomas Roe and his equally useless camel to Sanctuary. We landed Marble from Mistabod for our Wine. We're trading both copies now - the other for Dye with Yuri in the interest of goodwill after we shredded his HA stack. No big, land isn't good enough to push happy cap anywhere pre-Biology or a food corp. Anyway, the onset of marble will cause Noble and I to spend the next few turns arguing Constitution vs. Aesthetics/Lit. I'd like Const first since we're going Mercantalism at the next revolt and Rep would pair nicely. Noble would like Lit so we can get NE down faster. Lewwyn, Pindicator, JesterFool - opinions? Dave lost another city btw - we see the ruins here. Of course, given their gamelong NAP, Commodore is trading Dave his spare iron:

And the Aesthetics/Lit route is 25% the cost of Constitution. I gotta say it depends on if you actually plan on utilizing NE or HE. If you do then go the Lit route first. But if those are a "nice to have" rather than a main part of your upcoming strategy, then get the Rep bonus sooner.
