[SPOILERS] scooter, pindicator, and Huayna Capac try some fast Zulu cuisine

It's riverside and (likely) in his borders. Why wouldn't it be hooked up?

"Requires Route" means it's not hooked up to the capital.

"Requires Route" is not accurate for things in the fog. Happened in 38, and 45 too (you can ask me about the specific case there pindicator, not really worth mentioning here especially since scooter is also playing). It's likely hooked up. It's definitely pastured, no doubt about that.

Well, 6h on the clock. Right now my inclinations are to mine the copper, complete the worker right away, and whip a worker out of McDonalds. You have a few hours to change my mind before I play and go to sleep.

Oh, and tech. There's tech too.

I'm on board with what Pindicator has suggested. Sorry for not being around much - Christmas season related stuff going on. I'll catch up tomorrow at work.

Awesome news about the horse by the way.

Just in case, I played our turn. It amounted to finishing the copper mine and verifying that our warrior survived (30hp remaining).

Noble asked me last night what tech I selected (well, more accurately he told me that "i better have teched Writing"). I honestly couldn't remember, as I played the turn half asleep. So I was just as surprised as everybody else when I found our tech is

I said "I hope we're teching Writing." lol

I'd prefer Writing too at this point. I'm thinking we should swap.

So I logged in real quick. First, I unpaused and swapped our research over to Writing. I then repaused and THEN clicked on Commodore's diplo window which promptly got us stuck smoke. I was going to make a note of this in the tech thread, then I realized we'll probably get reloaded so I'll leave it be for now. Point is - we haven't ended turn yet BUT we're done with the turn. Anyways, one thing I wanted to highlight:

Commodore hasn't settled his third city yet. I find this hard to believe considering a bunch of people beat us to 3rd cities I think, and Commodore's start was easily quicker than ours. Thing is, his power graph hasn't really gone up notably either. So... what's he doing exactly that's delaying his 3rd city? A wonder build is the obvious guess, but it's not like a creative civ is going to build Stonehenge. Oracle is a good possibility, or he's just going for a really worker-heavy start. My slight nagging fear is that this is a pink dot play for the stone, though that would be highly stupid to come at Zulu which is sporting both horses and copper. I realize we only have 2 workers so he could be buliding more, but we've built FOUR work boats too which he surely has not done, so I'd think he'd have settled his 3rd city by now on a normal start. I mean, he's got tons of corn and forests, it should be easy. So something's up.

Thing is, he does NOT see our copper. He should see our horse though, right?

Demos:

GNP popping up there, but overall still pretty much middle of the pack. I'm guessing our raw bpt is actually the highest given we're working 4 FIN coastal seafood right now for a nice 12bpt.

So I've been looking through screenshots and I don't see a screenshot that shows Commodore in sight of our horse. It's possible he's seen it and we just never took a picture of it, but we have no evidence that he's seen it. Just something to keep in mind.
