You guys could kick it to AI if nothing else to keep the game moving.

yeah, after thinking about it a bit I kind of agree with this too. It probably wouldnt be fair to players not at war with AT either, I don't think the AI will defend quite as well.

If it's OK with everyone, I think I can play out AT's position until either his civ is dead or he can take the game back.
Current games (All): RtR: PB80 Civ 6: PBEM23

Well I wouldn't want a spoiled pro player as my neighbor. But if AT's situation is such that it doesn't matter who plays from now on, then it's okay.
