We can't - the map trade offer was initiated by us (when Sullla played our tturn on the stream, BTW), and accepted by them.

A dying civ gave us their map. Whoop te do. They could have given us screenshots of their map and it would be (almost) the same thing. I don't see anything wrong with that.
We shouldn't accept the gold, and it's good that we agree not to. Let's move on.

Honestly, I don't even think I'm going to bother telling the Spanish why we reject. They're dead in a couple turns, it's irrelevant.
If you guys think it's best to raise it as an issue over at CFC, feel free. Don't get your hopes up for a satisfying resolution, though.

I think plako should message them privately and tell them why we've rejected the gold, and ask them not to offer the gold to someone else. Consider this post an official RB request for our admin to do that, if we agree.
