RBP2 Lurker Discussion Thread - No Players!

It seems that Jowy is basically decided to throw his lot in with the Ottomans which means Byz and Spulla are both enemies. I think his major mistake has been how obvious his messages have been lately about his feelings. Spulla are clearly tipped off.

This has confused me for some time, but I've been to lazy to check on it: Didn't Jowy say earlier in his thread that he has two sources of iron? Is only one of them settled/connected yet?

I loved how Spearker pretty much caught it at pretty much the earliest possible moment. Though I don't think they are expecting a coordinated push between Dantski + Jowy quite yet. They are suspicious of both so I don't think they'll be surprised at all...

I think they'll get suspicious once Dantski doesn't renew his NAP with them (it's to turn 90 currently, right?). They sure sniffed that out with Jowy.

He should just make the NAP and break it. I think people will understand when its two weaker civs attacking the favorite to win the game civ.

I don't think so. I don't think anyone would trust him again, even in future games. If people don't trust regororrarr from being gamey with the rules, I doubt anyone would trust Dantski after he breaks an NAP.

I'm inclined to agree, NAPstabbing seems to go over poorly...

Bit of a blunder there by Byzantium, thinking that the Ottomans researched Iron Working. They should have been able to disprove that option by checking the tile yield of the iron outside Endor/Paris. It should be a nasty surprise for them when the Ottomans turn up with Horse Archers instead of swordsmen... It looks like their settler may finish too late.

Still though, it is an email that should have been sent a long time ago.

I agree completely. But given the attitude displayed in Kathlete's thread, I doubt it would have made any difference.
