Peace treaty doesn't abate motherland anger, his iceball is going to slowburn dtay til it does.

CheaterHater gets it in one:

I don't know how many Galleys we have though--we're building one of course, but we'd need a lot more to get anywhere. HAK/Jowy: superlush land and a duel-gimped defender. Eat that stuff for breakfast!
And while we're at it, Pindicator is crazy for not sucker punching dtay's holdings on Pin's continent while dtay was slogging thru two enemies and keeping bith eyes on Krovice. That continent should be solid Han dynasty by now!
But Pin, more than anyone else on this site, is sensitive to war weariness between games
I don't know about that. pin doesn't have that many units and he has absolutely nothing that can compete with knights, and he'd have trouble even with the longbows that dtay has in his border cities.

I dont think Pindicator is going to get any better shot. Pindicator has already been mentioned in dtay's thread as a juicy target... it just makes meta-sense to attack the upcoming hegemon while hes distracted.
I don't think dtay is going to successfully attack pindicator. By the time he gets around to doing that, pindicator will be too tough to attack without new units. That doesn't make it makes sense for pindicator to attack now, I think pindicator should go and beat up someone else that's weaker, like Cyneheard perhaps. If you're not strong enough to fight the local hegemon, you make yourself stronger first.

CheaterHater took over for Oxy/Baii, and it's probably an upgrade over the current skill*engagement product running the show now.
...but why would ANYONE attack into a thorny tyrant when there's a soft juicy HAK island next door? Even from CH's former home on murderers row he should have noticed that HAK was locked in a death struggle with Jowy for ~80 turns. That HAS to be a better target than Xenu. Even Liberia would be safer than venturing into Xenuland! Yea, I don't see that working out for CH. I think it would be a mutually destructive battle and with Plako just around the corner ready to pounce. Later if one of them retreats we could turn him into our sentry unit. Our power is pretty close together and with the GG so close to the next target I don't think we can possibly run in there and take it out without losing most of our army. Is their a pathway in the North that we can carve? Oy, flanking for the mainline hitters? Only if you don't expect a counterattack. Against Xenu? Suicide. Also, Boldly says he's got IRL stuff limiting his focus in-game. That's crappy timing with 2 hot wars and a Taj golden age that should be launching campaigns of conquest. This will probably be the final boat there is to miss for him. And while we're at it... Pindicator! where's your troops dood! Could be scavenging the best chunks of Cyneheard if you had any kind of army. And it's even the era of the Chu ko nu. Also, if there's ever going to be a window to hit dtay, it'll be with a standing chuck-heavy army that's already ready when the fur really flies between Krovice and dtay. If Pin ain't ready for that one, well he'll probably only get one shot. |
