Yeah, considering CFC, who was weaker than us, just ran over them in a half dozen turns, while we are much stronger and have WPC tying down German troops, and we are probably looking at a minimum ten turns more slog before this war is over.

My thoughts are they don't want to help #1 (and we are, apparently, #1. They just went and cut #2 down a notch). They want to approach it all on their terms, and will at some point make an agreement with CFC for a safe border to eat English 'Poly.
Those French are abit obvious. Maybe we should poke poly and cp again since there is nothing todo.

We have waited for a response from CivFr long enough I think. Even if most of their attention is aimed at CFC, I would have expected at least some sort of acknowledgement by now, even if it was just to decline our offers.
So let's send a PM to CFC to test the waters. Perhaps the situation with the French will make extending the NAP a more palatable choice for them.

I prefer the "don't say shit anymore" approach for the various reasons stated here. The constant asking for NAP's will be perceived as weakness.

Agree with Yell0w. I think it's more important to get some more OBs with other teams than to chat up more with CFC, who has set out their attitude to us pretty clearly.
I think it'd be better to offer some happiness resource to Univers in exchange for open borders - they have several large cities that would give valuable trade routes.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width
