RB Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Peter of Byzantium

here's what I drafted - thoughts? Haven't sent it yet but will soon

Quote:Hi Athlete / Kalin (but not Kodii)

We noticed that you have a worker roading the forest near our border.

While I am sure that you are not doing anything so dastardly as pretending to negotiate in good faith and saying that you want to play a peaceful game while in the meantime building up an invasion force, I was asked to send you an email requesting clarification.

Anything you could provide would be useful for me to take back to the team

Also our worker is currently 1W of the deer roading according to plan.

Hmm...that Worker is in danger I fear smile. The draft looks good.

So, as I contemplate my post pitboss 2 gaming life, should I be looking at Fallout 3 or Crysis? I just put together a new machine and it should have the horsepower for Crysis and I love shooters. OTOH, I'm a huge fan of opened ended RPGS and the Fallout series. Alternative suggestions are welcome smile.

Sent the draft. And I don't think it's necessarily the end of the world. I do think they're likely to attack though. I guess it all depends on if they have other copper (for axes). If they do, we're in much more trouble. But with 2 other sources of copper nearby, it seems odd that they'd have a THIRD closer by. And they did say they were planning on settling in the Paris location

But chariots we could handle, with some luck and depending on how many they bring

I think Crysis. However as a fan of good old-fashioned random encounter RPGs, I'm officially biased against Oblivion-style open-ended RPGs.

I am not aware of this, need to speak with Athlete. We did have a discussion about the trade routes you proposed but I thought we were not building roads already...

When athlete parks 4 Chariots next to Paris, I predict kalin will claim ignorance.

I'm really enjoying Dragon Age origins at the moment. Heavily reccomended if RPG's are your thing.

I prefer the Oblivion style games. In fact, I'm going to go play some Fallout 3 right now...

Dragon Age was rather good fun. Fallout 3 was a great FPS/RPG thing. Currently enjoying Modern Warfare 2 a lot, although that mostly seems to involve being shot by kids with much better reflexes than me. smile
