RB Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Gandhi of Korea (Broker33 & plako)

Now that Whosit has declared war to Slaze it might make sense to delay our attack few turns mainly for 2 reasons. It is highly probable that the city will remain badly defended since the troops of whosit are fighting against Slaze and this would look better towards Kathlete since he specifically requested us to delay our action few turns.

Broker, what do you think? If we decide not to attack it would be good idea to move our units back to Seoul before Whosit logs in so that he doesn't see our units where they are. Alternatively we can just keep them in place so that he gets used to their presence and might ignore them.

I discussed with Broker and he is favoring immediate attack.

One further thing to consider are foreign trade routes. We would loose our trade routes to HRE and possibly also to other Rebels.

its not a problem you have enough cities ofshore

Alzoc II is empty and there are walls. I guess situation won't get any better than this to raze it. We could also consider moving our stack to threaten Ryloth, but it is definately risky and potentially quite expensive. Promoting Hwachas to drill+shock could be considered, if we want them to defend against his praets.

Thank you for the updates!

Had a couple of questions if you don't mind:

Was wondering what your overall military objective was? Whosit bashing, landgrab, etc?

What are you building in cities other than Seoul? (can see that one in the screeny!)

Good luck with it all. smile

Most of the builds are visible on my previous screenshots, but I try to remember to take new ones after logging in next time.

Objective is to harass Rome and hopefully somewhat lower the pressure that Whosit is putting towards slaze. Land grabbing would be nice, but I don't have high hopes in that respect. We might be able to capture Ryloth, but we can't raze it and our chances on keeping it over the long run are slim. We would need artist to bomb it and still it would be relatively easy target for a quite some time for Whosit before it gets borders popped and we can't concentrate our troops to keep it because of HRE coming after us.

Slaze told me that there he'll lose Tiwanaku next turn. Apparently it is a city with 4 food resources so bad city to lose. He also mentioned that next cities won't be that easy for Whosit. Slaze is also getting Construction next turn. Whosit has there 16 units: 11 Praets + 4 cats + 1 axe. That means he can't have that much towards our border. I think he can get ~6 Preats/axes + couple of cats on Ryloth within next 2 turns.

I'm still considering what to do. We could try our chances and use 1 axe to raze Alzoc III and move others to 1W from Ryloth and see what kind of defenses he can get there in time or alternatively we could wait until we get couple of maces/X-bows before trying to attack.

Thanks very much there! Answered everything nicely.

Is there anyone else likely to be involved on your side of the conflict?

Best of luck with it all!

We're naturally trying to help out slaze and relying that Dantski has sufficient forces so that HRE can't direct everything on our border although Dantski is not in a position to assist us much. I also suspect that India attacks Jowy after their NAP ends (T160).

I got pretty relevant info from Dantski. Apparently Whosit got also 4 HAs from Kathlete:
4 Horse Archers 2E of Alzoc III

Known units are then 4 HAs+4 Praets that can threaten our stack close to Ryloth in 2 turns and there are 2Praets+cat that can reach there in 3 turns. It might be bad idea to go for Ryloth at this point and better to wait for Maces. I'll also consider switching to Bureacracy+Caste for 5 turns and time our next whipping round when Machinery is ready. I'm not quite sure, if switching is currently that profitable so had to think about it. Our capital isn't that strong.
