So anyone think scooter or Lewwyn can beat mack?
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Lewwyn might, his skillset is very suited to duels.

I get the feeling Mackoti is saving Pericles traits for the finale. Or Sury maybe.

Yuris Wrote:Hey Mist,
I'm sorry to bother you with this, I really hoped this situation could resolve itself without your intervention, but it looks less and less likely
In the end of February, we started to discuss our duel, and Catwalk said he probably won't be able to play for personal reasons. I asked him to post about it in the forum, and he promised to do it. But it never happened
I tried to contact Catwalk since then, but couldn't catch him in the messenger, and he didn't answer two emails I sent. With time running out, I have to ask for your ruling on the situation
Seeing that he's active in other forums, I'm surprised nothing has been happening in the duel league. Maybe he's already discussing this situation with you in private, but I don't know about it if he does. If you could help to resolve this problem, it would be great
I can send you the chat log and emails if you need them
Many thanks for your help
Cheers
Yuri
Got this yesterday. No word from Catwalk and less than two weeks left to play, so Yuris wins by default. If Catwalk doesn't contact me by the time next round starts he's out of the tournament altogether. I'll withhold announcing this until I get the pick from 2metra for next round ( he is supposed to play Catwalk next ) to avoid distorting tiebreaker condition.

hardly a surprise to be honest
he was way out of his depth, and burned out on Civ in general due to it, disbanding his part of 29g and 33 ... with a RL uni pushing hard on top of it ... well

Settings and picks for US-Pacific bracket round 3
Scooter - Lewwyn
Quote:-classical start
-standard map settings: so tiny mirrored inland sea (asking Mist to sprinkle some happy/food so it's not as barren as usual)
-prince/monarch difficulty?
They are playing on Monarch. It's
De Gaule ( CHA/IND ) of Byzantium ( Scooter ) vs. Napoleon ( CHA/ORG ) of Mongolia ( Lewwyn ).
Bob - Dazed
Quote:We need to pick settings. I vote for Prince difficulty or lower, classical start and leave the map up to you.
dazed
Sounds good. I say (mirrored) Islands map, just because I've never played on one in a competitive mp setting. Mist should just use the "islands" setting on the Mirror script, not try to mirror some map by hand.
So Prince. And fireworks in leaders :
Huyana Capac ( FIN/IND ) of Vikings ( Bob ) vs Pacal ( FIN/EXP ) of Inca ( Dazed )

Scooter - Lewwyn match just finished with Scooter loosing his capital and conceding. That makes Lewwyn top of the group, but I'll hold on on announcing that until Europe goes through round 3.

Mackoti and I agreed on a Renaissance start, all other settings are default. My pick is Tokugawa of England
Thanks!
