Have to ghetto quote because of forum permissions:
Quote:My surname is Cot, which is what I have lying in the last few hours, trying to recover freom this nasty hangover. I think there was something wrong with that ale.
It seems strange to me that novice hasn't shown up yet. He's usually here right away for these games, ready to boost his post count. Where are you hiding novice?
Darrell
+10 internets to you, sir.

Well it doesn't take long for people to peg about half the roles in the game does it. Supris at MJW wanted to drop all the fake ID stuff so early though

Yeah, this really isn't as much fun as I thought it would be to lurk. Not sure why, just can't get into it.

While I'm still too drunk to get immersed into this, I hope it is fun to play...even if the lurking suffers. And I agree, lurking will not be as much fun - less information for us who like to sit behind the scenes and make deep comments like "novice always does that" and "Gaspar always gets fake-angry like this..." so we suffer for not knowing.
It might be rough on players without sufficient time to really read the posts and look for clues, instead of just semi-blindly following the lead of X or Y or maybe Z. We shall see.
And Jowy is Sir Percival, a bit strange that he didn't want to hide his tracks any...would be very fun if it is someone else, who just mimicked jowy's characteristic style for fun...

I think the issue for me is that its hard to keep track of Sir So-and-so said this and Lady said that, etc. Its too much work to keep track of 20 "new" players. No knock on the setup, just not conducive to lurking.

So yeah I am not paying attention to this at all despite me expecting to do so. Jon's last post looks like uberfish though.

I suspect once personalities begin to emerge a bit more, interest will pick up.
Lady Elizabeth is officially annoying me.

Yeah, I can agree with that. From what i've seen (i was off moving yesterday), they seem to have taken the opportunity to not spend the whole time meta arguing on someone's past to spend the whole time arguing on who someone might be, instead of letting that fall by the wayside and focus more on current tells than that sort of digging up.
I feel like I'm becoming "that GM who has interesting ideas but the games always end up somewhat flopping for some reason or another'.

Well, we had discussed playing a game like this for ages, so I don't think it was a bad idea to finally do it and given you're the only WW playing admin, you were destined to draw the short straw to run it.
The players might well be enjoying it, for that matter. Just not a game for the lurkers, which isn't a big deal, since we're you know, lurkers.
