[no players] Casting Jaundiced Eyes: Lurker and Map Thread

Agreed. I'll take the one player doing planning work and simming against the other four committing a comedy of errors. (Jowy isn't playing that badly though. Needs more cities.)

Yellow could go 2N, grabbing first ring clams. With a high happy cap, I figure you'd want to settle fewer and stronger cities. Maybe 2S of orange instead of orange and red? Catwalk, if you're not Jowy's dedicated lurker, then this is usually not done (giving advice).
I see that Jowy's metagaming is still the same as ever. Declaring war yet again to exchange war chariots for spears because.... why? If Jowy can ever curb his appetite for random, meaningless bloodletting, I think he could win one of these games. Still waiting for that day, however.

I really dislike how Jowy dotmapped his horse city, you don't really need two grassland pigs and wheat, and certainly not at the cost of settling on a grassland horse. And I also disagree with how he's valuing crabs. Sure it's a bad food resource, but it's still a rather good tile.
Well Jowy is afraid that Sian is going to attack him with spears, so he attacked when the exchange was relatively favorable. Of course he has copper so he could just build some axes instead.
Mardoc's GNP is interesting. He's teching Currency with ease which is very unusual for a non-FIN leader, but it's evidence of his very odd supercottage start more than anything. All things considered though I'm not sure his position is that bad, although his dotmap is pretty terrible and gets too much water for no good reason. Oh and he shouldn't have settled one off the coast of course.

I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out. With Pyramids for thestick, I think this game is effectively over. Who is going to beat him? ![]() Not Jowy and Sian, fighting pointless Ancient age grudge match with 75% of the map unclaimed. Not Mardoc doing... whatever the hell this is. ![]() ![]() Bobchillingsworth has the best chance, although I think he's also very far behind from the limited info that Bob posts. Score is close only because Bob is CRE trait (free land points) and built the Oracle (wonder points + tech points) and Buddhist shrine (more wonder points). But thestick had these demos before he built Pyramids: I think I'm calling GG.
