Nothing much happening at the end of turn. I could easily take Izmir, but I don't think that is a good idea at this point.
Mackoti got Great Spy so I guess he finished Commmunism.

Between the turns Serdoa offered peace to Mackoti that he was able to sell me and WK to accept. So Mackoti and Serdoa are now in peace. I'm hoping this works ok in the end. Mackoti has also apparently killed a big stack from TMIT that is now collapsing fast. WK also suggested this land split that is ok to me.
Mackoti gave me 3rd Cannon in exchange for 2 Cavalries.
Quote:With tmit having joined in against us and mackoti having captured a city already, we need to sort out a land split of tmit to go along with the land split of Serdoa.
Here is my first impression when I look at TMIT's land:
mackoti:
Samsun, Ankara
plako:
Izmir, Diyarbakir, Kayseri, Kenya
WK:
Gazintep, Bursa, Edirne, Istanbul
Now I realize that I'm getting the best part of this deal with 4 fairly good cities, however I think its fair considering that I easily got the worst part of Serdoa (out of the 3 cities I got from Serdoa, Carthage is ok but not great, the other two will likely be razed at some point given how things are turning out against Serdoa). mackoti, both cities you get have decent pop but due to the geography there isn't really much else you can claim. plako, the 3 cities on your border are all pretty much undisputedly yours, but since most of them aren't core cities you have Kenya as well.
Anyway, this is just my first impression. Thoughts?
So to the turn. TMIT front 1st. Most of the Janissaries that were in Diyarbarkir have disappeared. There are just 2 of them NW from it, Mace and Janissary inside and Kayseri has 3 visible to me. Not yet sure what to do. Might take Diyarbakir and threaren Kayseri since TMIT starts to be very weak and I think I might be able to hold these cities. Unfotunately the tile where Janissaries are has just flipped to TMIT so I can't use Cannons to drop down defenses. Furher east it seems WK has retreated from Kerkouane and there are also those 4 Cavalries I upgraded for him that I'll gift back shortly to him.
The annoying build que bug seems to again show that some of my allies is focusing quite a bit on Theatres and not military.

In the north Serdoa has killed my musket and sentry Cuirassier from the hill NE from Hadrumetum losing only 1 musket in the process there are 2* Grenadiers and 2* Muskets in the road behind it. I've made mistake with the positioning of the siege and can't use it against that stack this turn. There is also TMIT's scout visible. I guess they're coordinating with Serdoa after all, even if it hasn't seemed like that lately. Despite of lack of siege I probably should attack since replacing the killed units will be way harder for him than it is for me and Mounted/Pinch units will have pretty good odds against those units.
Izmir has just 1 Janissary, but I won't try to take since Serdoa's main stack could recapture it.
It is also nice feature that I can draft Hadrumetum right away because of my high culture in the tile where it is located.

Aargh lost my battle report with misclick. The attack against Serdoa's stack did go incredibly well costing me only 1 Cavalry. There were even 2 battles with ~35% odds won there. In the south I took Diyarbakir 1st losing 2 Cuirassiers and then used Cavalry and Rifle to kill units NW of the city. As a final step I did position a little stack of mounted and rifles there. After doing the capture I was not very happy about the defenses I got there. It probably won't hold if the stack that left there comes back, but at least attacking will be more expensive than defending for him.

You can cache your reports midway by hitting the preview (or go advanced if you're using quick reply) - much harder to lose that text afterwards.

Yeah. I know I should do it and I was a lot more careful when Server was regularily busy, but I've already forget. "Esc" seems to totally empty the quick reply field and I don't know any way to get back the text that was there.

Ctrl+Z might work (Firefox also allows right click -> Undo), but Esc doesn't clear it for me so I'm not sure why it does for you (might be different browser). If you're on a Mac it'd be Command+Z of course.

I use Explorer. Now testing it. It seems that ctrl-Z does the trick. I even tried that yesterday, but I was switching between the game and Explorer, so I might have done something that cleared this possibility.

In the south TMIT has attacked against the captured Diyarbakir with poor results for him:
In the north Serdoa killed a Musketman near Hadrumetum and brought his main stack towards Hadrumetum.
I'll need to think the situation carefully in the north before proceeding.

Put a bunch of cavalry on the hill maybe? I don't know how many you have in range.
Also, do you have any idea of the relative research rates of you, mackoti and WK?
