Technical difficulties, so you get no report for T121. I'll give you a full refund. You can express your frustration in the banter thread, which is apparently the lurker thread now.
Bit of a calm before the storm turn. There was some fighting between Commodore and Mist last turn - Commodore appears to have taken some sort of opportunistic shot. Both Work Rate and Kusari have had their garrisons reduced and the fighting appears to have occurred around here:
Commodore birthed another GG, which appears headed to Sasha, his HE city to be settled.
Last turn we settled Nebbiekins in Caldeum to pump 5 xp units out of our HE city:
This turn we probably foolishly had St. Augustine create the Temple of Solomon:
We advanced on Ankara. We will most likely attack next turn. Here's the situation there:
Kayseri and Izmir should be relatively trivial after that. Probably get a little ugly again around Gaziantep and Edirne. But lets not count chickens. We whipped a settler for the Ankara replacement, which will found a turn after the razing, much to Noble's chagrin. Yuri did emerge from Commodore's territory with an HA which can't do anything other than retreat or die next turn.
We unfogged the shrined Taoist Holy City of Tuchanka this turn. On the border with Commodore. Defended by a lone archer, naturally.
Demos - saving gold for this turn and next in advance of Oxford.

Check out what he titled that post
Speaking of which, are there really seven iterations of cities that have been named after me?

No idea, I just felt like Pindicator VII was safely left untaken.
I'm probably not going to report the most recent turn as it was the most oppressively unfun turn I've had in a game outside of FFH7, I think, and that includes scooter stomping my sandcastle in 14 and LP raping my coastline in PB4. Which is amazing, since nothing especially bad happened at all. There's basically two things that sum up the 6 hours of my life I'm never getting back.
Quote:NobleHelium: well do you see anything more urgent for the remaining workers to do
Lewwyn: they can plow
plow your mom
Gaspar: no, i dont see anything more urgent for the workers

Summary of the turn: Lewwyn tries to get us to build lots of knights while insisting that he's not trying to get us to build that many knights, only a limited quantity. I get pissed at him. None of this matters when we realize that we'll probably need to build some markets for happiness soon so we start building some [strike]muskets[/strike] rifles while we have the chance.
We predict heavy casualties for taking the rest of yuris's cities. I assume mackoti laughs at us in the lurker thread for not using knights instead of CKN. That's about it.

Even more accurate summary of the turn:
Noble: See above.
Lewwyn: Build some Knights, you don't have enough units to take Yuri out and nothing else can get there fast enough. Also, TROLLTROLLTROLLTROLLTROLL.
Noble: Super literal and officious response.
Lewwyn: MOAR UNITS, MOAR.
Noble: Pissy super literal and officious response, appeal to me.
Gaspar: I'm playing any future games on RB solo, because even if having teammates with complimentary skillsets makes my play better the only thing less fun than this would be an Ebola outbreak.

What does your dotmap of Ottoman lands look like, again?

Pretty much that, though we now intend to keep Kayseri (the city on the peninsula in the very NE of his lands.) We've planted the city NE of the iron, and we'll be planting the city SW of former Ankara next turn.

We'll be planting Bastion's Keep next turn. I was sorely tempted to dry whip the settler to get it planted this turn. Obviously we messed up in not starting it a turn earlier since we didn't count the turns it would take to take Ankara.
We're also going to keep Kayseri despite what that picture says, because it'll be a net profit really easily and we don't have to pay a settler for it. We can put it on permanent Wealth (once it has a Granary and a temple) and slow grow on coast with little or no food.
Ankara cost 4 CKN. The main issue is that we moved two reinforcement CKN off the road network stupidly last turn, so they won't be in time for the attack on Kayseri. We will have at least one knight that will catch up in time to participate in the attack, so that's good. (Cue Lewwyn rant on knights.) Our existing CKNs are quite heavily damaged, although Davy Crockett will be fully healed next turn.

Looks like that X player learned the hard way to play in the center with your first move.
