Ah, yes, didn't notice that.

All tiles within your culture provide visibility as if a unit was standing on them. So Lewger can see that tile all the time.

I know that, I just didn't notice that LewBig has a landtile in range to get two-tiles vision into water. Actually, it is clearly visible on a screenshot that this tile is defogged but it looks like I preferred not to believe my lying eyes lol

What you guys think about Zulu team building the Great Wall? I understand that it is really cheap with stone and GSpy points are nice but Zulu are really starving for hammers and a city in which they are building this thing lacks LIGHTHOUSE having 3 seafood tiles and three lake tiles in BFC. I think, lighthouse ASAP would be more useful and actually cheaper than Great Wall there. So, is there any way to justify their decision?

Wether or not its "justifiable" (a thing that is definitely subjective) I can definitely see their reasoning for it - the great wall won't last forever and that site has a) enough good tiles for lighthousable coast/lakes to not be necessary to work and b) the city has plenty of food.
I think its something id do in the circumstances.

This on the turn Zulu find out they didn't get the low odds GE for the GL, and oh yeah, Com built GL this turn anyway.

I don't think they'll care that much when they get the fail gold though.

Yeah, seems like an ideal outcome, getting maximum failgold.
I have to run.

If Comm's capital is more than 1/7 of his total economy, it's worth a turn regardless. From this turns screenshots, the cap is generating around 1/3 of his beakers. Hammers less clear, but I think the choice is easy.

Edit: well wait. .33 of total empire * .5 commerce boost * 7t = 1.1 turns worth of beakers... and subtracting for existing research multipliers... blargh. So I'm wrong, it's not easy.

Does he lose a turn on the GW from the flip, or does Bueracracy give it back?
