We're working the same raw tiles, it just means Cutting Edge grows a little quicker and Tree Huggers grows EoT regardless. Anyway, here is our newest city:
For the record, I disagree with this swap, though I don't care much either way. Since no commerce multipliers are in effect this turn at either city given our 0% science, it is simply a transfer of 1f from TH to CE. I consider that to be undesirable. This isn't impoartant and I'm not asking us to change it back this turn, but I thought it was worth posting for discussion and future consideration. Here is my reasoning:
1) CE's next growth is not sped up by the swap.
2) TH has more sizes left to grow than CE, so more opportunities for the 1f to matter.
3) TH is a better city: it has more multiplier infrastructure since it's a commerce city, and the pop will be working better tiles (almost all flat grass), so extra pop there is worth more.
4) TH is a cottage city. The main issue of cottage cities is they have to work a bunch of tiles with no local benefit (cottages - they don't add food nor hammers), but they have to build a lot of infrastructure and grow a lot. Any opportunity to transfer food or production from a production-oriented city to a cottage city is good in my view.
5) TH has less flexible food surplus. CE can swap between mines and farms and easily manipulate its food surplus to meet micro needs, but TH needs to work cottages and therefore can't so cheaply change up its tile configuration. I'd rather give the extra point of food that is not immediately needed to the city with the less flexible growth rate.

Ah sorry, somehow I missed that suggestion.

This sounds better too since that sheep is only 3F.
I can login in about 2 hours. There are 4 1/2 hours left on the timer so we're good on that front, but if WPC logs in and hits enter in the next 2 hours, we'll miss it. So if somebody wants to jump in and make these two swaps, go for it. Otherwise I'll get it in 2 hours if the turn hasn't rolled by then.
Also, thanks Seven for the reasoning on the TH/CE issue. I think I'll swap it back if I get the chance, I agree that it's generally not worthwhile.

Well if we're going to do swaps we should swap back TH/CE.

Trying to get into the game to make the changes now, and I'm bouncing off somebody from CFC. Does this give me the right to write a pissy message over in the IT thread at CFC like the one they wrote about us? :P

Well, at least now you have not only the right but also the opportunity to log into the game.
Furthermore, I consider that forum views should be fluid in width

Changes made. WPC still has not logged in with about 2 hours to go so... we may have to sort that out.

Now they're logged in, no need for further action.

WPC ended turn. No messages worth noting in the turn roll message. Only teams with non-trivial score increases were Apolyton (39) and Univers (36), though WPC had a borderline one (14). Only small changes in the power graph.
Most exciting thing was probably Mansa's Muse finishing its grocer - that's worth at least 15gpt.

Wait - what? CivFr dropped to 3rd and CFC has dropped to 4th! I guess that is 'lots of points' for the Ottomans from stealing techs.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.
