RB Pitboss #2 [SPOILERS] - Peter of Byzantium

The only thing I can think of is maybe adding something in there that says we're not giving up Paris, but anything else is on the table. That is, if that is the consensus. Personally, I'd rather just make sure they lose than give up Paris but if you guys feel otherwise.

Maybe something else asking about how fun is it going to be to play this game for another year with no chance of winning.

Is that possible? Isn't an archer 25 hammers and a whip 30?

Any chance of a screenshot of Paris and its surroundings?

I'm watching the disaster unfold in the SEC Championship game, but I'll log into the game later today. We need to make sure we get any remaining moves in by 9:00 left in the turn, and then we can control-a any units 1 tile from the city if need by when the turn rolls.

GOOOOOOOOO BEARCATS (and Cornhuskers)

There's 20 hours left on the timer now, so plenty of time.

And you're right we can't double whip, but we could potentially whip twice.

How many turns is it for an archer to get from Athens to Paris? 3? 4?

Well, the Bearcats survived thanks to Pitt's inability to kick an extra point (!!!).

It's 6 tiles, so 3-4 turns, depending on river crossings.

@Regoarrarr"

I'm puzzled, and I don't see the answer in this thread. Did the enemy chariots move in to our land this turn (T57) or last turn? If this turn, why did they move so early? If last turn, why have they not attacked yet? I'm going to assume the enemy moved in during the current turn, and try to punish them for being so silly.

The following moves were made:

1) Paris swapped to Archer.

2) Bear the warrior moves into Paris.

3) Michel the warrior moves SW.

4) Spiros the warrior moves NE.

5) Alexander the worker moves 1W and roads.

And of course I do not end turn.

There are now 13 hours on the clock. If Athlete, et al, moved in last turn then we're just waiting for them to log in and capture the city (and we were negligent in not moving our third warrior into the city until now). If they moved in this turn then we will hold the city for at least one turn guaranteed.

I guess I will find out what turn the chariots moved in once Athlete/Kalin logs in. If they can't attack Paris this turn then I need to be logged into the game next turn so that I can get our two warriors into the city before they can attack.

@Cyneheard: 4 turns for an archer to get from Athens to Paris due to river crossings.

Are we leaving Athens on The Oracle?

EDIT: Nevermind, saw sunrise's post. We could sling Iron Working and hope for some in the capital.

Sorry about that, but in combination with Texas's last second win I predict we see a Gator/Bearcat Sugar Bowl. That will give you and regoarrarr something to talk about smile. I predict we'll get TCU in the Orange Bowl, and I will surely be going...
