Quick update. Not going to be around much today - may need a pause (turn timer was supposed to be extended anyways but never happened). So Commodore did not settle, but instead withdrew his settler. I recommend we chase it.

We can also trap his chariot/warrior this way. I recommend we match this with the other Impi going SW-SW through the forests. This'll put him in a bad spot with no real options. I also think we should be swapping back to a worker:

We got him to not settle the spot in our faces, so I think we need to get back to expansion. We can get the quick corn spot to our east, and then our 5th plant can be northwest for stone and all that - and we'll actually have the military units to back it up. Here's my thinking on workers:

Lets send one of the northern workers east onto that plains forest to road for our corn city (side-note: did we decide which tile to actually plant that on?). He can even pre-chop that forest to get it up to speed quickly. THe other two workers should head west of the cottage tile to road between McDs and LJS and hook the gold. Then we want that forest south of McDs chopped just because it's generally unsafe.

Opinions?

So if it's still an option on 6 turns, what about planting 1S of the crab and chopping out stonehenge. Or is that too risky?

As for corn/pig spots, i think the hill is okay but i'm not sure how that fits with a city in the south grabbing the fish.

Lewwyn actually finished Henge at end of last turn, sorry, forgot to note that part.

I thought we would be planting westward with our fourth city, but depending on how soon it comes it doesn't look like we'll be ready roadwise for that.

Impi moves look good to me. If we corner his chariot we should kill it without remorse. I don't think letting it live will cause Commodore to act any differently in the future.

Yeah, that's good to get me off that line of thinking. Especially since i just chastised Commodore for it tongue

If we get 4 cities before Commodore gets his 3rd down then i have no more worries about rushing the center: we just out-expand him if we're going to be that far ahead, and take him out with a later production advantage. But that stone is still needed for Moai....

Also, if we kill his chariot, do NOT sign a treaty until we're sure he won't abuse it to settle it in our face. We could sign a cease fire. Make sure to propose the correct thing if we're proposing.

OK, moved like this:

Nice to see the workers being named after Advance Wars characters. Not sure what he'll do with the chariot/warrior group. He doesn't really have a right answer with how to move them. I'm guessing Commodore will fall back and settle a more sane sheep location... Thankfully there's a TON of forests for our Impis to take cover in, so it's going to be difficult for him. Workers:

Two workers should probably complete the LJS/McDs highway next turn, then head to the gold.

Depending on what he does with the chariot/warrior, we should probably follow his neutral road back to his territory then pillage it at the end. devil

Are we chopping into the settler or no?

We actually already did chop into the settler once. We could do it again here if we want.
