I'm surprised you guys actually watch those hah, I have to think it's way more tedious to watch. Anyway, now you guys get a taste of what it's like to play through a turn with Noble. It's 30% funny, 30% tedious, and 30% productive, and 10% Noble nitpicking about details no mortal should ever care about. Given the fact that we're now under a 10T cooldown with CivPlayers, I think we need to consider some "troops for speed" trades.
Some possibilities to keep in mind: - Split our stack to hit both Warendorf and Wilhelmshaven next turn. - Hit one city with knights this turn, move the stack to the other. - Hit BOTH cities with knights this turn, then head for tundra. Obviously the fastest. Obviously depends on German defenses.
I expect we'll attack Wilhelmshaven with knights and advance on Warendorf with slow guys...
Civilization IV: 21 (Bismarck of Mali), 29 (Mao Zedong of Babylon), 38 (Isabella of China), 45 (Victoria of Sumeria), PB12 (Darius of Sumeria), 56 (Hammurabi of Sumeria), PB16 (Bismarck of Mali), 78 (Augustus of Byzantium), PB56 (Willem of China)
Hearthstone: ArenaDrafts Profile No longer playing Hearthstone.
Are we decided then that we'll just go ahead and take all four cities to be done with this war? With the recent development that CivPlayers is not going to renew their NAP, we need to wrap things up as quickly as possible to reposition our forces. That can be the message we send to WPC.
German team just ended turn, so I jumped in immediately. Here's how it looks:
Okay we need to talk. 1) We could easily take both cities with Knights. That would make the culture borders go poof. THEN we could use 1-2 cats (at most) to suicide into their hill stack and then wipe that with maces. It sure looks like Inca is letting us have it all while they send everything at WPC. 2) On one hand, we should still be cautious and see if we can't get a unit layout from WPC on where Inca moved. 3) On the other hand, there's a chance that WPC is stacked on cow right now and could snipe Warendorf from us. However, given their comment in the last email and the fact that Inca left it so lightly defended, this seems unlikely. 4) We do still have the sentry in our stack, we could move it forward if need be. So we have options here. I think we just take the two cities. We have 11 Knights in this stack, and we do have 1 more that can hit Wilhelm (amphibious penalty) under the stack icons. We'll definitely lose a few Knights on this, but thankfully neither city is on a hill (finally). The defenses of Warendorf are also low from WPC's bombarding presumably. Thoughts? I think as of right now, I'll plan on playing tomorrow night. Also, I did this right away: Nice job math whizzes, we had enough . I wanted to do it before any whipping/drafting took us below a threshold or whatever. Anyway, at 0% science that boosted our gold/turn output by 64gpt! Pretty great.
Ooh, that looks so nice.
If we hadn't promised WPC that we wouldn't race them for cities in their part of the split, this is where we would snipe the city. As it is, I strongly vote to stick to our agreement at least that far. We should definitely make sure both cities end up captured this turn (hopefully by us). What's our GG point situation?
