I don't think elephants are worth it at this stage of the game but in case something bad happens and I lose my horses I'll have a backup unit. So I took it.

Yeah I want to keep the stack at the cap (which is pretty central) to be reasonably flexible in case of attack, and get the peninsula back (2 more cities needed)

Hey, not a lot - I whipped a bit and I'm building some courthouses in prod cities and cheap forums/grocers in commerce cities. I'm also farming over some cottages devil.

What was your tech plan? Seems like Printing Press is the best economic tech, but it's not on the bee-line to Cuirs...

No I decided to run for rifles because the techs in between are important economically. PP is even better with cottages everywhere though wink
Apparently the consensus here is that farms+workshops are better than cottages, yet I admit that here I fell back to my known world of a full cottage economy. If the transition isn't going to hurt too much I don't mind more farms and workshops.

Anyway this tech plan was submit to change so if you think cuirassiers are worth it you can change back to that road.
