No, they are three tiles from Warendorf so the one-movers will not be able to get into the city no matter what.

As I understand it, the units have already moved, and are 1NE of Warendorf. It's only the chariot that has moves remaining.

But we should make sure in chat with WPC if that's correct.

This was the situation last turn.

I believe they then subsequently said that they would be moving in next turn (i.e. this turn), so I assume that stack wasn't moved any last turn.

Two-city front without a road network between the two cities?

Okay, I've re-examined the units that the Germans have. They have one worker on stack D and two workers on stack B. They also have a worker on stack A, but he isn't relevant. They need three workers to road the desert SE of Warendorf. We will presumably wipe out stack D and capture the worker in the process (yay!), so they will not have enough workers to road and hit Warendorf with one-movers. Thus, we only need to defend against their two-movers on stack C (stack A is the only other stack with two-movers and they won't be able to reach Warendorf even if Huron River falls and they road in place) which consist of three flanking horse archers (one with C1) and two medic chariots (C1 and C2 respectively). So we'll need maybe three maces in the city?

I guess we should use the waypoint worker trick to double check that the tile SE of Warendorf is not pre-roaded?

Also, stack C is slowed down in their attack on WPC only if Huron River holds next turn, otherwise WPC's culture will go away too. I think it's more likely than not that Huron River will fall.

Also, the Germans may need the two-movers on stack C to take Huron River. I would expect them to prefer to use them for that than to retake Warendorf.

Stream will be in 30 minutes: 10:30 EDT, so that's 7:30pm out on the west coast. Hopefully I'll see a few of you there. Only war front stuff tonight - I'm hoping to keep it to an hour. We can go over domestic stuff tomorrow.

Right now it looks like a narrow victory for trying to let WPC capture Warendorf. I'm going to assume that and make our best effort possible to make it happen unless the voting shifts suddenly. If it's tied, I'll be the tiebreaker, which means we'll just capture it and regret nothing.

14/13 to capture and keep it for ourselves right now.

Regarding the cats - they have 12 hitters in their B and C stacks including three flanking HAs. The catapults should be safe if we move them 1E but it's not great.
