The only things I can think of are:
CivFR - Apolyton and CivPlayers are building up large armies, they seem to want to attack us but you should be watchful of them in case they change their mind? Perhaps we should agree on some sort of mutual defense them against them?
UCiv - Want to carve up Apolyton? We promise not to do another WePlayCiv split.
I think the common theme that has been cropping up is that other teams want us to propose agreements to them, they don't see any intrinsic benefit to helping us without use offering something to them.
You know, maybe we could get agreements for letting people steal techs?

Why would anyone want to make any deals with us at this point?

The first thought that came to mind was, because allying with RB would give a team a reasonable chance of finishing 2nd. To some people 2nd is nothing, but to others finishing 2nd is an achievement. How happy do you think WPC would be with 2nd this game if everyone else happened to be wiped out?

I could see it happening If they were desperate enough. Like if we are in a position to fight a war and CivPolyPlayers invade CivFR, CivFR might ask us to help. Or something.

We might as well take our shots diplomatically and see if we hit on something. Speaker's correct: no one should sign any deals with us. But that doesn't mean that they won't anyway. The number of dumb things that teams have done in past Pitboss games is too high to count. And there's always the chance that someone just wants to play for second or third place, as others have mentioned. Maybe we could set things up for CivFr or UniversCiv to plow into the unprotected flank of one of these teams gearing up to attack us. You just never know.

We already went over the UCiv invades Poly plan and it seemed that the consensus that UCiv wouldn't be able to compete with drafted rifles. Though... I don't think we ever asked UCiv's opinion.

We could "warn" WPC that we fear they are going to be invaded because teams we talk with view them as our ally.
